This is mostly down to the cleaner. This is the dirtiest property I have ever stayed in. Immediately upon arrival, there were ants on the counter and dishes quickly washed but not put away. The lamps hadn't been dusted in years; the blinds are disgusting; the top of the fridge hadn't been cleaned in probably years. I quite literally went to bed and there were ants in the bed. I woke up and would have to brush them off me. When, on the second day, I mentioned it to the cleaner, she had the audacity to say I should shower more. The place was disgustingly dirty. The room was dark with some of the lights not working. The furniture is extremely old. Both the bar and cafe are closed, though this is not mentioned on their website. The owner did kindly bring me a frying pan when I mentioned the lack of pans, but what truly lets this place down is an extremely lazy cleaner who is not cleaning the rooms properly. The room was disgusting.
