It was overall a tasteful design with a lot of attention to details and our room had a great view on the city and partly beach with peninsula & Lady Buddha statue. You can walk to the beach and it's still central so you can easily grab a 8-minute taxi ride to get into town. The pool was being worked on while I was there. But it was rainy season, so there wasn't much you could do up there. One heads up, take your ipad with you because the tv only gets one channel. Also the hot water for the shower was as good as any of the best places in the world. It's also a very close walk to the beach which is beautiful. The staff was very polite and extremely willing to help out whenever needed. I wish I was rich enough to have tipped all the staff $5 just to show them how good of a job they were doing. Especially the ladies helping out at the breakfast buffet.
