I book a room with windows and it was said on hotels.com that there was a view of the city but in fact there was no view at all from my room. I was very disappointed with that. The laundry service wasn't good as well since my jacket was covered with lots of dust right after washing. That was unacceptable. The power also went out the first night of my stay although it was the whole area but why wasn't there an electric generator for the hotel? It was nearly an hour in darkness. No complimentary water in the rooms which is not good for Vietnam. Most hotels have complimentary water. But water can be purchased at reception for 10,000vnd for a 500ml bottle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The one downside to the stay is that somewhere nearby, someone's water tank must have had a sizable leak in the pipes, because a pump was coming on every 1.5 seconds and going off for 4 seconds, priming the pipes, right through the night.
