It's important to note that the last 3 miles leading to the property are gravel roads, which could be a concern for those with rental or valuable vehicles. However, the property management is poor. We encountered several maintenance issues: a mouse that we had to chase on the first night and two more on a later day, a coffee maker left with old grounds, patios littered with bird droppings, a filthy grill, a broken dishwasher rack, shower nozzles clogged with limescale, a cracked stove top, and a dysfunctional gym equipment. Additionally, the water supply was insufficient for five guests. We usually drink tap water but the unpleasant sulfur smell forced us to buy extra fresh water. When we contacted the host, Jayaraman, to report a power shortage, we mentioned the mouse and the cemetery of moths lying around. They were very dismissive, answering that the cleaning crew came the day before. However, looking at the dust on the surfaces (and all the moth cadavers), they may need to have a serious talk with their cleaning crew. Moreover, the host suggested that encountering mice is expected in a country property, which does not align with the property's advertised standards. The host also failed to follow up after the power was restored. Given the high renting cost, we were expecting a higher standard and mostly a more caring host. ##### Carine R.
