My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights with our 4 boys ages 7-9 and had a great time. The hosts were friendly and gave us recommendations for nearby activities. There’s a fire ring and picnic table as well as hookups for water, electric, and sewer. We enjoyed the privacy here versus the crowded campgrounds.
This is an ideal spot to operate from when you want to tour the Black Hills area.- very convenient, nice downtown area with a grocery store and gas station very close. The property owners are VERY nice- exceptional. When we arrived we had an unexpected mess in the camper and messaged the owner that we had to run back to town right away for supples. She sought us out in town to say she had what we needed so we wouldn’t have to buy! So kind! She also gave us great ideas for our day trips. Otherwise we were given absolute privacy on a beautiful camp site. Worth every penny!!
Everyone knows some times there are hiccups during a stay. What separates a good place from a GREAT place is how the owner takes care of its guests! Even though this is *just* a camper spot- the level of service from the owner was outstanding. Their communication and friendliness was top notch. We were within one mile of town which was a nice walk from the property for myself and my two tween boys.
We saw deer every day including babies with their mamas!
Beautiful spot. Great location. Private (though it is some what close to the main house), but perfect for a quiet get away with great views. Again, we can’t say enough good things about the hosts!
