    The Cabin
    All our cabins at Ponderosa Place feature vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and log accents. Kitchens have everything you need to cook except ovens... Stove tops, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee pot, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils are provided. Each cabin has AC units to help you cool down as well as cove heat if you are visiting in the cooler months. All linens and towels are provided along with basic soaps.

    Outside Space
    Cool off in the shared back yard with gentle log swing and seating area all under our huge willow tree. Or stretch your legs and let the kids burn some energy off in the two shared large front yards! There is a swing set for the kiddos, and 2 firepits for evening enjoyment.

    Located just a few blocks off the main street in Custer you can walk to the grocery store along with shopping and restaurants!

Wonderful 1 bedroom cabin in Custer S. Dakota. The cabin is rustic in decor, cosy and comfortable. The cabin is close downtown, easy walking distto grocery restaurants and things to do. We had a terrific vaca.

Really enjoyed staying at Ponderosa Place. The cabin was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Stayed three nights and so glad I chose this place. Parking in front of the unit and within walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store in Custer. So convenient! Sure beats staying in a hotel room.

Perfect for our family. Great location to town with great restaurants, ice cream and souvenirs, in addition to Custer state park and Crazy Horse Monument. Very convenient. The swings and tetherball were a huge plus after the kids rode in the car for 2 days straight!

Black Hills 4-day visit

Exactly as depicted in description. For two people there is plenty of room and the location near downtown Custer and the highways leading to all the Black Hills sites are very convenient. My wife and I would recommend others to book this cabin.

Cozy little cabin! Very clean and fully stocked with plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. We had neighbors and never heard any of them. Quiet end of town and easy to find! Will for sure stay again if in the area.

Nice location in town

Very clean and easy access to location. The units are more motel style than cabins as they are all connected. It is in town not in a country or rural setting. This is not a negative but a clarification so others understand what to expect. The unit was nice though the shower was very small. They have grills outside and were very nice hosts. I recommend staying, especially if being in town is preferred.
