"This unit had a better kitchen than one I had previously stayed in. It had a medium-sized refrigerator/ freezer. There is a great grocery store with reasonable prices just down the hill, Lynns Dakota Mart. The Mickelson Trail and a small Park are easily accessed a few blocks away."

"I had never been to SD and wanted a pet friendly cabin not far from Custer Park, Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. This place was perfect! The cabin was very nice, clean and the view from the covered deck was beautiful for morning coffee. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area!!"

"It really is glamping - it has nothing to do with camping as you know it. I would describe it as a cabin without water and bathroom (though they are close by). Very spacious, beautiful surroundings, nice hosts, has everything you need. Close to all major attractions.
Really enjoyed my 3-nights stay!"

"Such a great place to stay. Even with the bike rally going on, it was super quiet. The check in staff was very helpful - as well as the checkout staff. The cabins were cozy and quite adorable. Would definitely stay here again!!"
"The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was convenient to all the attractions and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. The breakfast didn’t offer much so we had to go to a local restaurant."
"We LOVED our time in this cabin. Deb and Dave are lovely hosts. They have adorable pugs that came to visit every morning, as well as puppies and kittens! What's not to love about that!? The location is off the beaten path and so peaceful and beautiful with cattle out front, a friendly steer we nicknamed Doug, a 2 mile hiking path, and a field filled with Elk the night we arrived! The air conditioner is a box unit in the window over the sink, but it kept the cabin cool so long as we left it on when we left for the day. Super great location. Just a 15-20 minute drive to Sylvan Lake with easy access to 16A which gets you to Iron Mountain Road, as well as the Wildlife Loop. We really loved our stay and will miss that spot of heaven."
