About this property

Beautifully preserved colonial house ideal for families and groups.

  • Welcome to your own private piece of history! Tucked away inside a beautifully preserved colonial house, this hidden gem is located right in the vibrant, historic heart of Cusco. You couldn’t ask for a better location: we’re a convenient 5 km (3-mile) drive from Cusco Airport—about a 15–20-minute taxi ride—and just a quick 2-minute stroll around the corner to the famous San Pedro Market. To reach the iconic Plaza de Armas, it’s a scenic 8-minute walk (700 metres) up a slightly steep street, which gives you a true, authentic taste of Cusco’s famous hillside terrain. Staying on this particular street is incredibly unique because Avenida Baja historically served as part of the vital gateway connecting the capital of the Inca Empire to the Sacred Valley and the coast. When the Spanish arrived, they built this very colonial house directly on top of those massive, hand-carved Inca stone foundations, meaning you are living exactly where centuries of travellers, merchants, and emperors have walked before you. It’s absolutely the perfect place to relax, catch your breath, and immerse yourself in Andean culture!
