The room was dirty. No hot water in all the three rooms we booked. We complained and they did nothing about it. The sheets were very dirty and had to be changed. The bathroom was very tiny. For a little more you can get a nicer hotel to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. I will not recommend booking with cheap tickets to anybody. We had reservations at Hotel Garcilaso I, but because of renovations, we were automatically switched to Hotel Garcilaso 2, just a few doors up the street. We had already stayed one night, went to Machu Pichuu, and returned for a second stay. For our return, we requested a room away from the street, as the first room was on the street and very, very noisy all night. The new room was at the rear of the hotel, clean and very, very quiet. We had left our large bags at the hotel, when we went to Machu Pichuu and they were in our new room, when we returned. The included breakfast is one of the best we've encountered. Again, the staff is very professional,helpful and everyone we encountered spoke English. The hotel is located within a short walk from numerous restaurants, plazas and places to see. We were moved to Garcilaso 1\. The hotel has a lovely center court. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. The room was initially satisfactory. Howrver, it overlook what turned out to be a very busy and loud street...all night. We got very little sleep. The included breakfast was one of the best of any placed we stayed this trip. Quickly rectified the situation and gave us an upgrade room. Bathroom was very average, show leaked and everything got wet! Beds are ok for a night, not great and comfortable.
