"Our stuck-in-time 1980s villa was stifling hot and stuffy when we checked in, and the sliding door to the deck would not open. We went to ask the receptionist, who rudely told us that she would be there "soon." When she arrived with a handful of keys, she could not open the deck before announcing, "It's illegal to open sliding doors here." She also could not turn on the AC. When we asked for a manager insistently, she left in a huff, only to return a few minutes later and suddenly was able to open the "illegal" door. During our two nights there, the Internet did not work, and neither did the television, the washer, the dryer, or the AC. This was the worst place I've ever stayed. Hands down.
