On the first floor, guest apartment with four bedrooms, (two doubles, one triple and one twin), three bathrooms with shower, kitchen, living room, terrace. On the ground floor a small kitchen, a living room with a large table, sofa, fireplace, a double bedroom, and a bathroom, a private cellar, a large covered veranda, the barbeque and large green spaces. Sat TV, free internet service with internal and external wifi (pool area). Air conditioning in the bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, pods and caspule coffee machine, electric water heater, fridge, oven. Our welcome gift includes seasonal fruit and two bottles of our own wine. The villa is located on a hill 3 km from the coast, with a splendid view of the sea, the historic center of Cupra Marittima, the hills and mountains of the Marche and Abruzzo regions. The house is inside a 15 ha property with vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. Our crops are organic and certified. Privacy is guaranteed by its quiet location, 500 m away. from the main road and the nearest houses. The property is accessible by private road, has an exclusive, fenced in salt pool with a large sunbathing area and a shaded roof. The sea is only 3 km from the house, where the beaches are free and equipped with all services (umbrellas, deck chairs, bars, restaurants, bike rental; sailing and windsurfing schools etc.). The whole coast called "Riviera delle Palme" is very organized with services for tourists, sea excursions, -mounts -city cities, restaurants and festivals that offer the best of local cuisine at very affordable prices. All shops and services are present in Cupra Marittima (2,5Km) Grottammare (7Km) and San Benedetto del Tronto (10Km). which also has a railway station for long-distance trains and a marina and fishing boat. In Cupra Marittima there is a railway station and a bus service (also for Rome (about three hours), four times a day). It is possible to make day trips to the mountains (60-80 Km), to Ascoli Piceno, Urbino, the Frasassi caves, the Gradara Castle, the Tremiti islands, the Conero Riviera in many other interesting places, The whole house is completely available to guests and the owners, who live in Grottammare, access only occasionally and only during the day (normally once or twice a week) for maintenance and cultivation. During the month of September, a fixed day a week, we make a small harvest, we press the grapes to produce wine in the cellar on the ground floor. Interested guests can participate and can listen to a lesson on wine preparation methods given by an oenologist. Participating guests will have 12 free bottles of wine per family. In October normally the second week, we dedicate one day to the olive harvest and on the same day an inimitable extra virgin olive oil will be produced. The guests present can participate and will have 4 kg of oil per family for free. We were here with two families for 14 days in September 2021 and have to say that the holiday home is perfect. Sufficient rooms and bathrooms, great, large communal kitchen, a perfect pool and an incredible garden with fig and olive trees and a vegetable garden. Cupra Marittima is a beautiful village on the coast with the typical, loving Italian charm. Beach and parking were ideal. The Villa Maretti is about 170m above on a hill. From there, there are many excellent and challenging tours in the area especially for MTB / Gravel fans - really great! The Villa was on two levels, a smaller one bedroomed apartment with kitchen, diner, lounge area and outside space with a BBQ looking onto gardens and pool area. Upstairs via outside steps was a large 4 double/triple bedroom apartment with 3 bathrooms, kitchen and outside covered terrace with heavenly views from every window. As we had secured the whole villa, Tommaso was happy for us to have the upstairs appartment, still with access to the downstairs if wanted. The pool was a perfect size and well maintained, with plenty of seating and shaded areas. The views fantastic overlooking the vineyards, fruit trees and beyond! This was exactly what we were looking for in a much needed stress free holiday. Quietness, beautiful views, friendly locals, good weather, friendly locals and a kind/generous owner. We had great walks up and down hills in the evenings and the two recommended restaurants were perfect in their quality and value for money! Both set menus, but the food just kept coming and it was delicious! For a large family the Villa would work perfectly as there is much space and areas, but for us (just two) was even better! Tommaso discretely visited twice daily to check his wine,which was helpful if advice was needed and he was more than helpful. We will be returning! The villa and pool were clean and comfortable for our family group of 6 adults and 2 kids. Tommaso met us when we arrived and showed us the house, gardens, pool and fruit trees. Tommaso helped us find a cooking lesson with a local lady, which was a wonderful experience. We had an exceptional fixed price supper at PepeNero and another fine dining experience with farm fresh ingredients at the La Fattoria di Lori. The pictures shown are a true and exact reflection of the actual property. Tommaso gave us the loveliest welcome which included a bowl of peaches and figs picked from the garden as well as a few bottles of his own made bottles of wine- we were very appreciative! The rooms and bed linens were all fresh and clean- and there was more than an ample amount of towels for us all also. The pool was clean and there were blow up water toys for the children to use. Tommaso was very attentive and made us feel welcome to contact him should we need him. He responded quickly when we contacted him to report a slight leak on a shower- it was fixed the next day! I would definitely recommend a stay at this property- the views of hills, countryside and the ocean from the windows was something I looked forward to every morning. The property is well located for accessing the main roads to take you to various beaches along the coastline- additionally you can find a supermarket, pharmacy and bank close by (once you descend the hill). Might I add Tommaso very generously assisted my party to get to the property on our actual check in date. Due to a car accident the previous day we were without a car- Tommaso's son, Marco very generously came to collect five of us, including three children. THANK YOU SO MUCH! All in all I would definitely recommend a stay at Villa Marchetti, we had a wonderful and memorable time. ##### Jennifer A. The villa is beautiful. The house is surrounded by vineyards and fig trees. You have a large swimming pool to refresh in the midday heat. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent #### Martin S. 1 Oct 2016 #### Traumhaftes Anwesen in toller Lage Das Anwesen liegt auf einem Höhenrücken über Cupra Marittima und bietet einen wunderbaren Blick über die Weinberge und die Altstadt auf die Adria. Um das Haus finden sich Weinstöcke, Oliven-, Pfirsich- und Feigenbäume, Tomaten- ,Paprika- und Zuccinisträuche, an denen man sich bedienen darf. Die sehr gepflegte Poolanlage wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt, da die Strände am Ferragosto doch sehr überlaufen waren. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts konnte nur der erste Stock des Gebäudes genutzt werden, was für uns 9 Personen aber ausreichend war. Das Erdgeschoss befand sich im Endausbau, falls dieses benötigt werden sollte, wäre das wohl extra anzufragen. Im Obergeschoss findet sich eine modern ausgestattete Küche, ein großes Wohnzimmer sowie vier schöne Schlafzimmer. 3 davon mit Doppelbetten und einem Dreibettzimmer. Die drei Bäder sind modern ausgestattet und geräumig. An allen Fenstern befinden sich Mückenjalousien. Die für 9 Personen etwas zu enge Terasse im ersten OG. bietet einen tollen Blick. Tommaso und seine Verwandschaft waren immer erreichbar und stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Auf diesem Wege vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! ##### Martin S. On one side you have the sea, the other side the valley and with good weather the top of snowy mountains. The house is very big and clean, the beds good and the interior is typically Italian. The garden is even bigger. Nice olive trees and off course the swimming pool. We even saw a little fox runaway. We loved the biological garden in where we could eat as much as we wanted. We made lot's of tomato sauce for the pasta. The owner is very friendly and grows his one Vineyard and bottles his own wine. We had the privilege to taste some of them. THey tasted very good. Niets dan lof voor deze prachtige villa. Gelegen op een hoogte boven de badstad Cupra Marittima. De villa is zeer makkelijk bereikbaar via een privéweg en ligt volledig in de natuur. Met uitzicht op de wijngaarden rondom rond én op de zee. De eigenaar verbouwt zelf wijn, als hobby en trakteert zijn bezoekers bij aankomst op enkele flessen ! Boven zijn er 4 volwaardige tweepersoons slaapkamers en 3 badkamers. De badkamers zijn vernieuwd en volledig uitgerust. De benedenverdieping is ook ter beschikking en volledig uitgerust voor rolstoelgebruikers. Rondom het huis is een zeer ruime en goed onderhouden tuin. Met groententuin waar je tomaten, paprika's, enz.. mag gaan plukken. En een prachtig zwembad met voldoende zetels, stoelen en ligbedden en van waaruit je nog steeds zicht hebt op de zee. Omdat de woning nog maar recent te huur wordt aangeboden, ontbreken soms nog kleinigheden. Maar de eigenaar staat altijd klaar om dit of dat aan te vullen. Als je 2 weken na elkaar blijft, wordt in het midden van jouw verblijf de woning volledig gereinigd, de lakens verschoond, verse handdoeken aangevoerd, enz. De WIFI is degelijk. Het is alleen jammer dat die maar in een deel van de villa en bijna niet in de tuin te gebruiken is. Een toplocatie voor een redelijke prijs. ##### katelijne w. We liked the location, because the house was in the end of the road so it provided us privacy. The garden and the pool were very nice! I miss all the good tomatoes from the garden :) Tommaso was very helpful and gave us good information. I also recommend a trip to Ripatransone, that's a very beautiful village! You should rent a car, the walks down to cupra marittima and back to the house are real workouts :) The house is big, great rooms and places to be together, very fresh and clean, you immediately felt at home. We really had a wonderful time in the house. We recommend hiring a car, the walks down to cupra marittima and back were true workouts :) The house was clean, calm and had a great pool and fantastic garden, everything you need. The surroundings were perfekt for a peaceful vaccation and a lot of privacy. Last but not least the owner Tommaso: a wonderful man! The beautiful villa and the wonderful sightseeing over the Adriatic sea made my vacations be simply perfect. Tommaso, the owner was very kind and showed us all the wineyards he has. This is not a villa as stated, but an apartment above a wine cellar. We felt deceived by the advertisement. If you are looking for a villa where you can open the doors to the pool, then this is not the house you are looking for. It is an apartment. The owner/manager and I twisted about this problem for days and they will disagree with me, but I feel it is important to express this in a review. The apartment is on top of a secluded hill and doesn't have the expected kitchen supplies. It is actually quite empty. The location is also quite secluded on top of a hill. Cupra Marittima, petite ville qui dispose de tous les services, est un point de départ idéal pour découvrir cette magnifique région des Marches. La piscine est très spacieuse et très bien entretenue. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la vue très dégagée sur les vignes, les oliviers et les villages environnants.
