" Basic rooms an a little outdated but clean. Beds are not that confortable. Breakfast is not great and the room only has 4 tables accomodating 10 people maximum for an hotel that size not praticable. Friendly and accomodating staff."

"Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas. The kitchen is so spacious and has 2 stoves , big fridge and anything you need from Brita coffee makers to plates cups and cutlery annd cookware. And there is nice clean plush white towels. I’ve never been able to find anything negative about this hostel. It’s a lovely experience staying here and I always look forward to my stay. Thanks to the people who run it I’ve always returned. "
