RAINBOW PARADISE is a gorgeous modern sustainable house with HIGH CEILING, NATURAL AIR FLOW and AIR CONDITIONING, built on a SIX ACRES SECLUDED PROPERTY overlooking the Caribbean. It is located in the hills of North View Estates offering SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the surrounding hillsides, ocean and Manglar and Pela Bay. The private pool facing the ocean offers privacy while opening to unobstructed view of the Caribbean blue and emerald water melting into the infinite tropical sky. It also offers a great way to relax after a day at the beach or sunbathing on your secluded patio. The private access road is entirely paved for our guests comfort. This four bedrooms home consists of three separate buildings, connected by amazing archways and extensive tropically landscaped patios. The master bedroom is located on the main level with direct view of the ocean and pool, and has a king size bed, along with a large private bath. The studio apartment is situated on the main level as well, but is separated from the master bedroom in order to offer more privacy. The two dwellings are nevertheless connected by a protected arched hallway. This " casita" studio has a full bathroom, kitchnette, and queen size bed. A coach in the living area of the studio can also be converted into a bed. The kitchen and living room are also on the main floor, facing the common plaza, the loan, the pool and the magnificent Manglar Bay down below. The 2 other bedrooms are located under the main kitchen/living room area and are connected to the rest of the house by a covered stairway,close to the entrance of the upper bedrooms, making it easy for parents and children to be connected if necessary. But it is also designed to offer privacy if the guests choose so. One of the bedroom has a queen size bed, the other a double bed. They share a full bathroom located between the 2 rooms. There is also an outdoor bathroom at the pool level . TOWELS and LINEN We provide an "airbnb"type of service. Since we don't provide dayly house keeping, please read attentively the details under LINEN and TOWELS in the AMENITIES column. Please preserve those items in a way in which they are reusable during your stay. You can hang wet towel and cloth on the OUTDOOR CLOTH LINE located next to the master room.They will quickly dry and be refreshed by the natural breeze and sun. PERSONAL LAUNDRY: If you need extra laundry service during your stay, it can be provided for a fee to be paid directly to our cleaning staff. There is also a coin laundromat in the center of town. It is covered by carefully watered vegetation that contributes to the feeling of being away from it all, as you certainly are on the quiet side of Culebra. This house is perfect, in every way. I could stop there but I’ll go on :) We spent a glorious week in Culebra - the island is magic and this house, from the very beginning, a warm and welcoming ambassador. The first thing you experience are lush, tropical, well maintained grounds dotted with beautiful flora and fauna. The configuration of the house/bedrooms were perfect for our two families (6 in total). In our case sleeping ‘suites’ (both ensuite) for the adults on the upper level, and a lovely ‘kids wing’ on the lower, with two good sized bedrooms/shared bathroom. The upper level of the house is connected by a breezeway of arches, a simple detail that creates elegant architectural drama, tying the ample outdoor areas together. The indoor living area/kitchen are sized right and simply outfitted, with everything needed for lounging/meal prep in a communal setting. The lovely patio/pool configuration is comfortable for swimming and/or sunbathing, which for us was perfect for relaxing while keeping an eye on the kids. And the view! This truly deserves its own review! Day or night this sweeping vista took my breath away, like peering through an exotic looking glass. Host Micheal was an absolute pleasure to deal with -accommodating and quick to respond, before and during our stay. The top virtues of this unique place are as follows: 1\. Location: secluded and high overlooking Las Pelas bay yields a beautiful view, a nice breeze and a quiet and private environment. 2\. Pool: essential to cool off and big enough for our group. It was a highlight. 3\. Poolside deck: the main gathering place for long dinners alfresco or just hanging out. We spent hours every night at the deck. 4\. Home design: lots of open space with separate rooms result in an airy resort feel with privacy for occupants. 5\. A/Cs: the bedroom units are fitted with effective units and help a good night sleep. Be advised these are for nighttime use only per house rules. 6\. Water: the pressure is good (cannot take that for granted in Culebra) and supply plenty thanks to a big cistern. 7\. Power: Solar/battery based which avoids disruption from a power outage. Air conditioning in the main family room/kitchen would have been nice to have for hot nights when the breeze dies down and dining/gathering inside would be more comfortable. However, there are floor fans to help with that. Furnishings and appliances are practical, especially the dishwasher, but there was no washer on site, which can be helpful for a long stay. No real need for a dryer as air drying was easy. In summary, Eco-house is a fabulous place for a group stay and home base to explore and enjoy Culebra. Thumbs up! ##### Orlando R.
