I asked why, she said because they were calling me on the phone and did not answer (?). I got very upset because the lady was not empathetic and would not even apologize and they would not take responsibility to accommodate in another hotel. I had no data in my phone and It was extremely difficult to find another place to stay in a city bursting with people due to the local festivities. I will not recommend this hotel because of their lack of professionalism and empathy in cases like mine. Lo único de lo que me puedo quejar es que una pared de la habitación (la que estaba pegada al baño) y el techo del baño tenían claras marcas de humedad. It was clean and the shower water was hot (something not to take for granted in Ecuador). We had a billing issue that was resolved quickly with the help of our tour guide. We appreciated the hotel owner’s prompt response. The only issue of note was that the WiFi was not very good, it worked in the common areas but not very well in our rooms.
