(199 reviews) We had a great time staying in the Diamond Room. The apartment is in a brilliant location, with easy access to everything we wanted to see. It looked fantastic, the bathroom was really nice, and having the kitchen area was a big bonus. The place was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt very welcoming. We also had a lot of fun with the pinball machine and ended up using it more than expected! You can really tell the hosts care about providing a great space and looking after their guests. Would definitely recommend. (24 reviews) The apartment was very cute & clean. We arrived after dark so it was a bit difficult to get into the unit. Very detailed instructions (w/ pics!) were given but it was dark in staircase & courtyard & using a cell phone light on silver lock box dials made things complicated. In our foggy, traveling brains, we thought we were getting keys from an office door & didn't realize it was our actual unit but a neighbor guided us. The description & details are accurate - the ceiling upstairs is 6' tall, my husband's head rubbed the ceiling. The stairs going up to the bed are very, very steep. We were both so nervous we would fall in the middle of the night if we went downstairs for the restroom so we ended up using the super comfy, fold out couch in the living room. There were even extra blankets and pillows stored inside the couch! The washer/dryer takes 2 1/2 hrs to wash & dry, plan accordingly. It is made for small loads so do not expect to dump a suitcase worth of clothes into one load. It was nice to have the convenience though. The neighborhood was a good central location and we felt safe walking around.
