Crystal River Manatee Palace A Waterfront Retreat HEATED POOL!

  • HEATED POOL!!!
    Manatee Palace is a spacious waterfront residence located directly on Kings Bay within the Crystal River Manatee Sanctuary — one of the few places in the United States where guests can legally swim with wild manatees. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided, allowing direct access to Three Sisters Springs and the surrounding waters. Manatees are present year-round, with peak season from November through early April. The property also serves as an excellent base during scallop season.
    The home features four bedrooms with king beds, including a generous upstairs master suite overlooking the river, and comfortably sleeps 10-12. Guests enjoy a private heated pool available year-round, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, outdoor grilling, and plentiful parking. A private dock is available for those bringing their own boat.
    Situated in a peaceful section of the sanctuary, the residence is only a short distance from local restaurants and shops.

    FINE PRINT, 6/15 to 8/15 3 night minimum. ALSO, pricing is for 5 guests ONLY, additional 125 pp per night. Visitors only with the owner's permission; no parties allowed.

Great place!

We traveled to Crystal River with 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 4-9). We loved the property - very convenient to so many attractions, nice pool (heated enough to swim in January!), comfortable beds, and kayaks/paddleboards to play on. Would be happy to come back!

Family get-away

Bring your fishing pole! We had a great time…the water out back was full of manatees, tarpon, lady fish, and a myriad of other wildlife.The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walks. Restaurants are close by and very good.We will be back!

Amazing house!

Beautiful and comfortable place. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful. He gave us a late check out with having to ask for it which really helped not feel rushed trying to get everything loaded up and get the boat out of the water. Highly recommend staying here!

We needed to stay in Crystal River for a family emergency. Andrew was FANTASTIC! He let us in very late at night, even went to the store for us! The pictures don't do the home justice. We had wonderful evening sitting out on the back deck, wonderful kayak rides. The sunsets were spectacular! It was a great place to just sit and relax. Can't say enough great things about Andrew. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Very good location, no bridges, large pool, great view, decent dock, unique architecture.

The house worked out perfect for everyone that stayed with us. 4 large bedrooms with king beds and a master with 2 king beds. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with some condiments and utensils which is always a bonus. The owner is great with communicating and the inside was very clean. The outside grounds were well kept up. Only thing to note is that the road to access the house is kind of narrow for maneuvering a larger boat trailer. Just a tip for boaters not from the area. There are sand bars to the left and right from the house and a channel to come into the dock. Make sure you inspect it at low tide so you know exactly where to go. Once your in the bay you are fine but don't turn left or right to leave dock or else it will get shallow very quickly. Very unique house but its white so it shows every spider web and spot. If it was my house I would probably have to pressure wash the outside every few months and probably have the roof pressure washed too. I would definitely stay here again.

A little left to be desired…

The location of this house is great – pretty close to nearby beaches and restaurants as well as the pick up point for scalloping. The house is huge and easily accommodated the four adult couples we had there for the weekend. The outdoor areas is large and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting there for sunsets. The kitchen was large as well and we were able to enjoy cooking a big meal for the group there one night. The decor of the house is not commensurate with the size architecture of the house. As my daughter put it, it looks as though a Ritz Carlton went into bankruptcy and was bought out by a Motel 6. The furnishings may be fine for a group of twenty somethings that want to get drunk and fish all weekend but they were not up to par for our family and what we were spending to stay there. Also basic needs are not taken care of – there should be soap and shampoo in every bathroom. Bedrooms should not have glass doors that offer no privacy. Coffee should be provided that works with the coffee maker at the house. Towels and sheets were threadbare and cleaning was not up to par. One of the bedrooms had stray long black hairs on the cabinet tops. Finally the pool was not something we wanted to use. The water level was very low and we questioned whether the filter was working properly. This could be a top notch home rental given the size and location but the owner needs to give it a considerable about of attention before I would want to stay here again.

The property is truly a palace! We had the BEST vacation here. The sunsets over the bay were incredible, and the huge pool is amazing. The house is massive and had all the comforts of home away from home, but way more luxurious! Andrew was extremely kind and easy to communicate with. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was exceptionally pleasant. It was the perfect location for us to explore Crystal River, Rainbow Springs, Homosassa, and Weeki Wachee, but the house itself is an attraction. If we are ever back in the area and it’s still up for rent, we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful location on Crystal River. Outside of the house could use a little loving care but I understand since we saw it was up for sale. With that said, the inside is spacious for a big family and is centrally located near many restaurants on the water or inland. Andrew was right on it when we needed some help, even though it was a holiday week-end.

An amazing property. Keep saying to my family this is a million dollar view. Andrew the owner is great and always available. Everything was absolutely perfect. You just don’t see Manatees, we had a dolphin come right up to us on the property and it winked at my entire family. Thank you Andrew for a great experience my only regret that it was too short.
