"The description of the house is accurate. It is in a great location on the lake. The house itself was roomy, clean, and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed for preparing several meals. The coffee provided was a great plus! There were also several board games, books, and a nice selection of toys for little ones. The outside porch area was a great place to hang out while also having a nice view of the lake. Most mornings I spent on the dock (I carried a small camp chair down) and had coffee while enjoying the sounds of the lake and wildlife. I was also able to work remotely for a good portion of our trip without any connection issues. During our stay we saw birds, ducks, turtles, frogs, fish, a small snake, several gators (across the lake), and an evening "goose parade" (a group of geese swam by each evening lol). There were plenty of lights outside the front of the house at night which was great. It was a bit dark between the dock and house but it was not too dark (a flashlight is needed if near dock late evening or at night as there are no lights near the dock). This was not an issue for us. Ashley was great! She was very responsive to messages, she kept in touch during our stay, and she also provided us with some insight on nearby areas for boat launches, restaurants, and things to do. I loved our stay here!"

"I was given a room that had previously been occupied by a family with pets. I told the lady at the front desk about my allergies regarding pet dander. The African-American lady with glasses assured me, that there was nothing that she could do. She said we are booked solid. My only choice was to find another place to stay. while on my way out to find another hotel, I met Ms. Kristina Ohme at the front desk with the same lady that told us that there was nothing she could do. She was genuinely concerned about why I was going to find another hotel. I explained to her about my medical condition. I was so pleased, when she said, we can fix this. She said give me 10 minutes. She gave us the same class of room on a different floor that did not smell like pets. She made our whole trip turn from a rainy day to sunshine. We were truly blessed to meet her. "

"My room was miskeyed and someone walked into my room because they didn’t change the original room in the computer and so I was terrified the rest of the night and I finally fell asleep in at 6:30 AM. The dumpster guy came right outside of my door. Outside entry. It did not go well. Breakfast unappealing."
