Was always willing to help. We accidentally left our rental car head lights on all night and in the morning the battery died. The receptionist not only helped us jumpstart the car but had the patience to help figure out how(we had a hybrid rental none of us knew how). Location of the hotel worked best for us as it was in the middle of everything we wanted to do in the South Island. It is only a few minutes' walk to the circuit entrance and the units are lovely. They still look and feel like new and have evrything needed. The staff are very helpfula nd friendly too. I had a great surprise this time, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment from a Superior Studio. The extra space was very welcome but I was surprised to find that the combined toilet/shower/washbasin area was tiny and not that practical. However, there was no counter space in the washroom. The lady at the check-in reception was also not very friendly or accommodating. Someone parked in our space and she said there was nothing she could do.
