My husband and I were able to spend great quality time with our family. This house is perfect for multi generation family needs. We all had separate areas to gather and plenty of room wh
Everything you’ll need for a great stay is on site! Very clean and well equipped house, beautiful view and my son loved the dock for fishing. Nieces loved paddle boarding in river, dock with steps made getting into and out of my kayak easier for an old lady like me!
We had a great stay at the bluff house! We had 6 adults and 2 kids, the house didn't feel crowded at all. We stayed during Christmas and had everything we needed to cook everyone's favorite dishes. The owners have thought of everything for a great stay.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Our favorite parts were the screened in porch and the dock. The owners were very friendly and communicated with us ahead of our check-in and during our stay when we had questions. We would definitely consider coming back in the future.
Peaceful Getaway – Our Second Visit and Definitely Not the Last!
This was my second time visiting this place, and I can guarantee it won’t be the last. I absolutely love the serenity, the river right behind the house, and the sound of birds each morning—it all makes this home truly special. It’s just 45 minutes from Savannah, and the house has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and a spacious living room.We will definitely be back. Thank you for another wonderful stay!
We came for a destination wedding and family reunion, along with three adult children and spouses; sibs and their adult families were nearby. Perfect for group and served as gathering spot for all families with the huge screened porch, pavilion with seating, and gazebo. Morning coffee daily in the dock gazebo was a highlight, Even though we only had the sun on the last morn. Outdoor cooking kitchen includes a burner and giant pot - we had an awesome shrimp boil with extended family!
House has best view, comfy beds, amply stocked indoor and out for cooking anything, we didn’t need to get anything except our food. HIGHLY recommend!!
Our stay at this extraordinary property was truly delightful and met all of my expectations. The peaceful location, pleasant climate, and the calming sounds of the birds in the morning as I enjoyed my coffee made for a truly idyllic experience. The nearby river, just steps from the patio, added an extra touch of beauty to the property. The house was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and provided a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, its proximity to Savannah, just 50 minutes away, made it a highly convenient choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property.
Beautiful home & property provisioned for the perfect saltmarsh stay.
Baisden Bluff was the perfect place to celebrate my dad's 70th. The owner is very accommodating, and even touched base a couple days prior to give me the rundown on area attractions. The area is serenely quiet; the house itself is gorgeous and spacious, with a screen porch, an amply-equipped kitchen (plus an outdoor cooking space!), a cabinet full of puzzles and board games, and two great bookcases. However, we spent most our time outside (how can you not, with such an enchanting dock, which also has a handy and plumbed fish-cleaning station?!). We explored by kayak; made use of the crab pots (supplementing our catch with a visit to Shell Creek Seafood, highly recommend); booked a fishing charter with Reel Busy (10 minutes down the road) which yielded enough redfish and sea trout fillets to feed us all week, and also brought our own aluminum canoe + 5HP motor, which we brought to the dock via Belleville Boat Ramp (5 minutes drive). We did day trips to Harris Neck NWR & Jekyll Island, but I think my favorite part was sitting out on the dock watching the stars come out and the full moon rise over the saltmarsh while owls and other night birds sang away... we're already talking about another stay here.
It was a delightful stay. The view from the dock is amazing. We were out there almost every day for sunrise and sunset.

Extremely entertaining home. Dock is great with an exceptional view. Has fire pit and a great new grill area. Loved it and will be back. Very remote area and private. Good fishing and crabbing.

Beautiful view
WHat a wonderful
Experience we have had here. Make the effort to get up and watch the sunrise over the river to the east end of the marsh. Spectacular!
Such a beautiful place! We enjoyed our long weekend at this location more than we anticipated. Plenty of room inside and outside. My favorite evening was when we used the fire pit and grilled outside. Tom is an exceptional host and was even gracious enough to speak to my husband by phone regarding routes by boat. We cannot wait to return to this location in the future!

Fishermen
We had a very comfortable stay. We came to relax and fish, and were well satisfied. We have stayed twice now and each time the home met our expectations. The location is good , easy to get to and clean! We did not dock our boat this year as we fished further down the coast, but have used the dock previously and it made it easy to get out and fish. Thank you for the great trip.

Fantastic Stay!!!
We recently rented this home for a long weekend to celebrate a girl's only getaway. It was even better than we anticipated. The Glenn home has absolutely everything you can think of .... the kitchen is fully stocked ... the linens are top quality .... the cleaning supplies are provided .... the crabbing nets are great ... the firewood is ready for the fire pit ... seriously this place has everything! They have gone above and beyond to make visitors feel at home. The house sits back far enough from the street to make you feel at one with Mother Nature. The screened in back porch is huge and has plenty of room for meals and games if you want to enjoy the outdoors without literally being outdoors --- amazing cross breezes keep it very comfortable. The dock is awesome - three levels with a covered area to sit and chill and watch the hours go by. There is also a sink for cleaning the seafood. The house itself has plenty of room for everyone to feel like they have their own space. It is filled with family memorabilia and sentimental touches from days gone by. The Glenn family has clearly spent many years of love in this house. There are plenty of techie treats too - flat screened TVs and WiFi for those who cannot leave it behind. I would highly recommend hopping the ferry over to Sapelo Island as well - wonderful day trip - and the ferry is right around the corner. We took a drive down to Darien and bought fresh shrimp right off the boats - deeeeelicious!!!! We also caught plenty of crab off the dock as well. We hated to leave ... and will definitely return! Many thanks to the Glenn family for sharing this amazing retreat.
