We enjoyed by every day staying there on sunny and rainy days : exploring Delaware,hiking over multiple trails,which are within 30min of driving, and enjoying many waterfalls.Or just sitting on a cozy deck made right near the stream.Very close to stores and restaurants.One disadvantage-river is crowded on weekends due to nearby boat renting stations;another one-no TV(only Wi-Fi).But these are not very important. Conveniently located to Milford, Bushkill, and Dingmans Falls, and a bridge down the street to venture over to the other side of the river. Gas, groceries, and restaurants nearby if needed. We even enjoyed a day of heavy rain because the dry creek right out our door began gushing so beautifully into the river. It gave us time to stay put and listen to classical CDs while playing cards with a glass of wine and the cozy fireplace lit.
