Rich with character and surrounded by mountain views, this two-bedroom retreat blends rustic authenticity with unbeatable convenience—offering walkable access to town while still providing space to relax and unwind outdoors. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay). • Book 7+ nights, and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and 4th of July holidays). • Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. –About Your Host– At Vacation Rental Collective (VRC), we are a professional management company that takes pride in delivering a consistent, high-quality experience across all of our homes. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only lose the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was adorable and convenient. It felt like an old time, true Creede experience, like you were visiting your parents or grandparents in Creede. Very clean. The beds were full-sized, too small for two adults used to more space. One mattress was comfortable, but the bed frame made it bouncy when one of us turned. The other mattress was too stiff. I slept on the couch until we decided to move to a new rental.
