"Very very pleasantly surprised, it is a 2 star no doubt but the rooms are very clean with a great mattress for sleep, clean carpet and with new tv and excellent internet connection. The best part is the food in restaurant, with a great selection of Indian and canadian. For supper I tried the Samosa with Saag palak Panner and it was absolutely delicious with the spice level perfect for my canadian taste buds and the Chai tea was perfection. My only complaint was been in room 29 the location is close to dumpster, a divide wall or something similar to hide the dumpster would certainly improve overall impression of motel. Great value for the money "

"My wife and I had an amazing stay at Strong Timbers. We had the entire lower level of the home to ourselves, complete with a private patio, our own hot tub, and direct access to the beautiful St. John River. We spent time kayaking and paddle boarding, and even spotted eagles overhead. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and their sweet dog Denali added a special touch to the experience. Everything was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully set up — and breakfast each morning was delicious. A perfect mix of comfort, nature, and privacy. Highly recommended!"

"Fantastic space, well set up to be a good time even if the weather goes bad. We had sun and rain, and enjoyed both, from playing games in the lodge and listening to the rain on the tent, which left lots of space to hang out together, to hiking the trails and relaxing in the hot tub. The only complaint I maybe have would be firewood; while I managed fine with the very wet wood at our site, the host offers unlimited firewood for $5/day, which is supposed to be refilled each day. I sent the money and communicated that I wanted this service, and was a bit disappointed that only the wood that was clearly out for days was there (for an extra fee, I would have thought access to at least some dry wood would be provided), and while that could be easily overlooked it was not replenished at all the second night. That notwithstanding, I could not recommend this space more. We felt completely removed from the stress of the world, while still having incredible comfort. "
