"We enjoyed our one night stay in this spotless retreat. After a day of traveling in the heat, the cool and clean stay was just what we needed. The large comfortable bed, the availability of a kitchen and the nice shower set us back on track for another day of traveling. Highly recommend!"

"Despite being quite dated, the rooms were clean and the beds were excellent. The indoor pool deck is carpeted, but there are tiles, mortar and grout ready to be installed, which should be a huge improvement. The continental breakfast is nothing to brag about - waffles, yogurt,!boiled eggs, cereal and toast, but the coffee was decent and the breakfast room was well-staffed Phil, the front desk clerk, was awesome. So helpful and friendly"

"Beautiful layout of the entire lower floor. Plenty of privacy. Very spacious if you are travelling with friends or family. Host checked on as we checked in very very late due to a ferry schedule problem. Both hosts saw us off in the morning. We hope to see them again next summer. But we will stay two nights. Their home and hearts are lovely."

"This hotel doesn't deserve the bad reviews. It's not the Ritz, but it was 1/2 the price of the hotel next door. They are in the process of fixing up the property. When we checked out there was a guy painting the exterior."
