"Overall this is a resort mainly focused on golf and leisure trips. The facilities are excellent (gym and golf courses) and the service was very good throughout and location is lovely in the countryside conveniently located near the M4. My only criticism is that the buildings themselves are a bit sterile and the bar and restaurant tend to be catering the golf groups etc but overall the hotel is definitely of a good standard and has excellent facilities"

"Comfortable and lovely cottage just a short stroll from town where we picked up fish and chips at night and coffees in the morning. Host as gracious- appreciated the details of sweet treats and bubbly and high quality linens and an impeccably clean and welcoming place to stay. Wished we had longer. "

"We stayed for a long weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. The log cabin is secluded and surrounded by trees so very private and quiet. It is furnished well with a very comfortable bed and a super comfortable sofa (a rarity in these small cabins in our experience!) the cabin was warm and cosy, kitchen was well stocked with the usual necessities, all clean and well kept too. We had our dog with us and he was warmly welcomed. The secluded spot means we could let him sniff and explore the grounds in comfort! Louis was quick to respond when we had a small issue (of our own stupidity in the end!) and came over quickly to rectify. We’d highly recommend this cabin for a quiet trip away for a couple, and if you’re a wine drinker, the cabin comes stocked with the families creations from across the bridge! "

"The lodge was so cosy and warm, we loved our stay and would definitely go again. The only trouble we found was that one of the single beds were very used and you could feel all the springs. Other than that it was perfect."
