"The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well-equipped. The welcome basket of "goodies" was a nice touch. The location is really spectacular - right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, remote but still within walking distance of the village. I was a little concerned about the drive along the muddy track to the cottage, but even I managed it in our little Hyundai i30!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Nicky has been fantastic and was easy to reach on the phone. The property was easy to access and was in extremely good condition and was well maintained. And as a bonus there was an electric charging point too. We were able to enjoy the pool and the hot tub, it was very quiet and relaxing! The only issue with the property was that the shower screen in both bathrooms was slightly small so there was water leakage but otherwise we could not find any...

"What a gem The Laurels is. We enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome package to arrive to after a long drive and lots of information about what to visit in the area. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. "We enjoyed staying at Primrose - very clean and plenty of space for us. The wood burner is fab - makes the place very cosy and also were pleased to be able to store bikes in the shed which was lockable. Definitely looking to return in the summer if available !"

A small bar with Bluetooth jukebox, pool table and darts is open for guests to enjoy their own drinks. Children will love the animals around the property. Easy parking adjacent to the accommodation."

"We enjoyed our stay. The property was ideal for the two of us and two dogs. The location is very peaceful. Only downside was the the pub had lost its chef so there was nowhere to eat out within reasonable walking distance. They were working on that so hopefully not an issue for future bookings."

"Perfect location, we visted Eden Project, St Ives, Heligan, Lands End, St Micheals Mount all from this location. Cottage was immaculate and accommodated my wife and myself perfectly. Sue lives next door and was waiting with the key. An excellent stay"

"Wonderful spot - 5 mins walk into town. Great view. Very cosy and homely. Extra touches like air freshener and soap and an umbrella make a difference. Parking was ok - always found a spot but did need to walk a bit sometimes. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back here in the summer."

"Island House is perfectly located in the centre of Porthleven. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was an ideal base for a walking holiday. Excellent restaurants, pubs and a micro-brewery within walking distance. Will certainly return and would highly recommend to others. The host, James, could not have been more helpful."

"Lovely comfortable cottage in a very good location for walking into Marazion. Parking a bonus although the lane is very narrow. Cool in the bedroom as it’s downstairs so slept really well. Richard, the host, was really friendly and looked after us well. Access to the property is via external stairs to the balcony/upper lounge. Quiet location, although the road does run behind the property. Would definitely recommend"
