When is the best time to go to Covenant?

The best time to visit Covenant is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny, great for outdoor activities. During this period, the average daily temperatures range from 20°C to 28°C, creating ideal conditions for enjoying the town's lakeside attractions and numerous parks. The long daylight hours mean more time for exploring. Families will particularly appreciate this time of year, as many of Covenant's family-friendly events and festivals are scheduled for the summer, including outdoor concerts in Memorial Park and craft fairs along Main Street. For those who prefer a quieter experience with beautiful scenery, the shoulder seasons of May and September offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds. Temperatures are milder, typically between 15°C and 22°C, which is excellent for hiking or cycling along the Covenant River Trail.

Four Points by Sheraton Saginaw

10/10 Excellent

"Friendly staff , clean rooms easy check in and out was a great stay would return"

Fairfield Inn & Suites Saginaw

10/10 Excellent

"They are treating us wonderfully. We put our friends in this hotel. The only thing I didn’t like was the pool was hard to get in and too shallow. My guest rave over the breakfast. It is nice and clean and friendly. China in housekeeping is such a. Sweet gal. I felt good to be able to put my guest up in such a comfortable clean place."

Marv Herzog Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We loved the ambience and location of the Marv Herzog Hotel. During our stay, the Front Desk Attendant, David was more than helpful as we were traveling with another couple and wanted to add an extra night to our stay. While it was a busy weekend in Frankenmuth David handled our request with a quick and cheerful attitude which made for a perfect weekend for all. We really enjoyed the included breakfast buffet along with the evening social hour that had an array of appetizers and drinks which we were able to enjoy on the beautiful patio overlooking the Cass river most nights of our stay. Thank you David for going above and beyond to accommodate us during our trip."
