"The rooms and property is clean. You can't get much closer to the lake, unless you want to be swimming in it. Breakfast was very basic, but good. The restaurant has fantastic food and less expensive than most hotel restaurants. I will be staying here again."

"This is a very nicely decorated property. The kitchen is very well stocked and clean. Cozy fireplace inside and community fire pit. Great location with trail access for dog walking. If you overpack, like I do, there are no closets or dressers in the bedroom (there is a cube cubby) or empty shelves in the bathroom. Minimal places to unpack clothes, etc. There is a stand up shower. It's small. But good water pressure and no problems with running out of hot water. It is a great location near major sights. It's up a hill from the main road, very convenient, but, you will hear the road noise when you're outside. I would stay again now that I know what to expect."

"This was our first stay here and it was very good! The breakfast was decent and well maintained. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. I'm still a bit shocked by the price of rooms per night and add on fees, but I realize this seems to be normal now up and down the North Shore. But it's apparent this property is trying to draw in more kids and families here offering family fun things to do and that is appreciated. We stayed here because it was close to our hiking plans. We would stay here again! But look at deals - if available!"
