This property has so much character and charm, is well maintained and amazing location! We had multiple generations of our family staying together and had plenty of space to spread out and to share! Would love to stay again in the future!!
Other than a couple minor suggestions to improve guest experience, we had a wonderful time in an extraordinary home. Coupeville is a sweet town with friendly residents
A wonderful place to celebrate my mother’s birthday. A stocked kitchen, nice linens, a unique home, and tons of space! Also within walking distance to the shops and restaurants!
Our ladies group loves this house. It was our second time staying and we already booked it again for the spring. It has everything we needed and a great location. We had fun checking out all the great little shops.
We loved this well preserved historic property. Everyone had lots of fun walking around town and the fire pit was a nice way to relax. It was the perfect place for multiple families with kids who are old enough to need their own rooms. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed, it had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for people to gather and spaces to spread out.
Great house a few blocks from waterfront at Coupeville.
Our family had a very pleasant stay. House has a lots of rooms and bathrooms with a great kitchen and big dining room table for a large family or friend vacation. Coupeville waterfront has a nice vibe with several restaurants and shops to keep everybody entertained and is centrally located to explore the rest of Whidbey Island. We would definitely stay at this house again…book with confidence.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything was great from booking to check-in to check-out. The home is absolutely gorgeous. We appreciate historical homes and this was everything it was listed as. We were within walking distance to dining, shopping, and the waterfront. We will be back.
Came for a workshop at PNW school of the Arts. House was so convenient, easy walking distance. Found lots of good places to do take out food after a strenuous day of felting
Loved the beautifully decorated vintage rooms. Christmas tree was beautiful. Big table great for family games. Family gathered for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Perfect location just 3 blocks to shops and restaurants. Everybody got their own room and was very happy!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Historic Kineth House. Good time with our ladies group. The house had everything we needed. Walked to downtown. Short drive to the grocery store or the beach. We would love to stay again.
Beautiful house, everything you could need was provided and more… kitchen was fully appointed with dishes, glassware, silverware etc… bedrooms were so comfortable and the bathrooms were great. Deck with big table, perfect… big dining room table that worked great for cards and meals. Highly recommend.
Wonderful home with 6 large bedrooms, 4 of which had dedicated bathrooms, and the other 2 bedrooms with an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen was large and with exceptional selection of spices and condiments. The bottle of wine and the candy were welcoming. Location and walkabikity was wonderful. Thank you. .you.sgreat home
We had 3 families with children stay in this charming house between Christmas and New Years . The host had a nicely decorated Christmas tree in the living room to enhance the atmosphere, with another small one in the dinning area. The house has a feeling of history, but it also feels like a place that makes you feel comfortable. All the bathrooms are updated, all the bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the cabinets were labelled making it easy to find utensils or cookware. We loved being located within easy walking distance of downtown, the water, the library, and the park. Everyone felt it was a fantastic stay.
This was the perfect house for our family! It had lots of room for everyone and yet lots of good spaces to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed which is good for us - we like to cook together. The backyard and BBQ were great. How wonderful to be able to walk into Coupeville. The house had character and charm. It was outfitted with everything we wanted. The joke of the week - how could we have a butler's pantry and not have a butler.
A group of 11 stayed in the Historic Coupeville Victorian for my niece's wedding in July. We could not have been happier. The location was perfect. The house was beautiful both inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked (the best chef's knife I ever had in a vacation rental) The various common areas made relaxing with a big group very comfortable. And with all the bathrooms it was easy for our family to be ready for all the wedding events. Scott responded quickly whenever I communicated with him. I highly recommend this property
My adult siblings and I stay in short term rental properties multiple times a year, in locations all over Washington. We all agreed that this house was fabulous!Definitely THE most well equipped/stocked kitchen. Plus great beds, fluffy towels, small thoughtful touches in the baths, lots of room for being together, as well as areas for smaller groups to gather and talk quietly. Although we didn't spend anytime on the deck or in the yard (not quite warm enough), the looked quite inviting and I'm sure add to the charm of the home. The location gave us easy access to downtown, as well as walking the neighborhoods, and getting out to destinations away from town.We would recommend this place to friends, family and other travelers looking for a comfortable place for a large group to gather.
Our group had an amazing time at Kineth House - we were in Coupeville for a low-key bachelorette weekend and the home did not disappoint.
The house is spacious - with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, we had plenty of room. The kitchen is easily the best rental house kitchen I’ve ever seen - everything you could possibly need to cook, tons of beverage options, and the complimentary bottle of wine was icing on the cake.
Don’t hesitate to book Kineth House - you won’t regret it! Though with lots of antique furniture and vintage decor, this is probably best for groups of adults or families with older children.
Whidbey Island long weekends are always a favorite for our family and this house was a great find for our group. We had grandparents, with 2 adult couples and their kids and had plenty of room with areas for the adults to relax and kids to play. The house itself was well stocked in the kitchen, we brought a lot of items for making our meals and found we didn’t need many of them since the kitchen was actually a fully functional kitchen. It was so nice and handy to have coffee and cocoa for kids, extra serving ware, plastic wrap and bags for leftovers and a whole butler pantry for glassware. The rooms are large and as pictured. The location was great, across from ciao and an easy 2 block walk down to the shops. We would definitely stay here again. Great house!
Everything was well stocked and cleaned. Great location to wander around! We enjoyed all kinds of different cups from the Butler's pantry.
The whole group could sit together at the dining table.
Depending on where you are sitting on the table, you might have a tight space to walk around someone to go back to the kitchen. There is no communal bathroom on the first floor. There are five bathrooms and you can always go back to your room to use your bathroom. It was actually nice to have your own bathroom with the bedroom where you're staying.
The kitchen was open to where folks would hang out.
10 long time friends spent three nights at this beautiful old home that has been thoughtfully updated. We were so impressed with how well stocked the kitchen/bathrooms were. We could not think of any appliance it did not have. The bedrooms upstairs were majestic. Every common room in the home was set up for comfortable visiting. All 10 of us were able to sit in the living room and share stories. I could go on and on but suffice it to say we are returning next year. The Super host Scott lived up to his name as he graciously helped me fix an error I had made in booking it for next year.
