We rented this house for a weekend to fish in the Trent River. Very close to the river and plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. The house was clean and owners quick to respond to any questions. We will stay again.

Each room is uniquely decorated and consists of thoughtful touches that reflect the local heritage. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bed linens were crisp and clean. Modern amenities, such as Wi-Fi and updated appliances. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided prompt responses to all questions. Overall a truly charming and quaint country experience. A serene setting made it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway. Whether you are looking to unwind or explore, this delightful home offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while bringing back memories of my childhood summers spent in Pollocksville.

Absolutely Amazing
All I knew was that this place was literally between two of my sons who are in the Marine Corps. We wanted to go to welcome home one from deployment and celebrate the other’s 25th birthday!!! Could not have asked for a better location!!!! Secluded but still close to grocery stores. The Best way to celebrate the above and also an Easter Egg hunt for the grandkids!! Definitely will stay here again!!!!

Quiet little house in the country spacious and clean. Hosts were very quick with communication and very welcoming. The house is about 20 minutes from Tryon Palace and the Birthplace of Pepsi. Great location and a charming getaway.

This is the second year we stayed in this house. No issues. Home owner is great, and the house is perfect for what we need it for! We had people arriving late or leaving early all work and we never ran out of room.

Nice and relaxing.
We stayed for just 1 night and had to leave because we had a family emergency and had to turn right back around and make a 10 hour drive back home. In the 12 hours we were there i can say the following: The home was very clean, stocked with everything you would need to cook/clean/bathe etc. There are 3 bedrooms. We only used 2 bedrooms and the beds were comfy. There were no creepy crawly critters in the home at all as it is very well taken care of. I wish we would have been able to complete our stay and enjoy it. Thank you. Thank you for your hospitality. It was appreciated.
