Blueberry Beach House is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront vacation home on clean, clear Blueberry Lake in Couderay, Wisconsin, near Hayward. The home sleeps up to 8 guests in beds and combines an updated interior with the relaxed feel of a Northwoods lake home.
Guests enjoy a gentle sandy shoreline, level frontage, step-free access to the main private guest dock, beautiful lake views, and a screened porch for bug-free mornings and evenings. Swim, fish, kayak, canoe, or use the pedal boat right from the property, then gather around the wood-burning fire pit at night.
🎣 Lake & Outdoor Living
The sandy shoreline and level lake frontage make it easy to enjoy Blueberry Lake. The main dock is fully available for guest use and provides space for fishing, swimming, or tying up your own boat. The public boat launch is directly adjacent to the property.
There is also a second private dock at the property. Guests may use the open side of this dock, but the opposite side contains the owner's pontoon and pontoon lift and is not available for guest use.
Kayaks, a canoe, pedal boat, kid kayaks, and life vests are provided for guest use.
The spacious, park-like yard includes outdoor dining, yard-game space, a park-style charcoal grill, and a wood-burning fire pit. Firewood is provided.
Guests can also explore nearby fishing and recreation destinations including the Chippewa Flowage, Lac Courte Oreilles, Grindstone Lake, and Whitefish Lake.

The light-filled living room has lake views, comfortable seating, a Roku TV, and an electric fireplace. Locally sourced art and vintage pieces add Northwoods character throughout the home.
The remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, full-size appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, and the essentials needed to prepare meals.
The indoor dining table seats 6. The screened porch includes additional dining space for up to 8 and is a favorite place for morning coffee, meals, and evenings overlooking the lake.
A washer and dryer are available for guest use.
🛏️ Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements
Primary Bedroom: King bed, Roku TV, guest storage, and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2: King bed, Roku TV, guest storage, and desk/workspace.
Bedroom 3: Two queen beds, Roku TV, seating, and guest storage.
Both bathrooms have updated finishes and are stocked with towels and basic essentials.
Maximum occupancy is 8 guests, with all guests sleeping in beds.
❄️ Four-Season Recreation
Blueberry Beach House is designed for year-round Northwoods stays.
In warmer months, guests can swim, boat, fish, kayak, canoe, hike, mountain bike, or explore nearby lakes and trails.
In winter, snowmobile directly from the property with access to Sawyer County Trail #33. Ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and other winter recreation are also available throughout the Hayward area.
ATV access is also available directly from the property.

The home also includes central heating and air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, Roku TVs, ample parking for vehicles and trailers, a Pack 'n Play with sheets, children's dishes, toys, board games, kid kayaks, and life vests.
Guests receive a small starter supply of coffee, tea, toiletries, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, trash bags, and toilet paper. Additional supplies may need to be purchased depending on the length of the stay and amount used.
Important Things to Know
Blueberry Beach House is located between the public boat launch and a former resort/cabin area. The neighboring cabins create a friendly lake-community atmosphere, but guests looking for a completely secluded property should be aware that other homes are nearby.
The home's water comes from a well that is tested annually for safety and is more than 100 feet deep. A water softener is installed. Naturally occurring iron may occasionally give the water a yellow tint or affect its taste and can cause discoloration in sinks, toilets, or the washing machine. Filtered drinking water is available through the refrigerator.
We contract with a snow-removal service during winter. Because we cannot control the company's exact schedule during storms, guests may occasionally need to use the provided shovels to clear snow before service arrives.
Parties and excessive noise are not permitted. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am.
A signed Rental Agreement, photo ID, and credit card for a $500 security-deposit hold are required within 24 hours of booking to confirm the reservation. Access to the home will not be provided until the required items have been received. Please review the full house rules before booking.
🐾 No Pets
Pets are not permitted at Blueberry Beach House. Undisclosed pets will result in a $300 pet/extra-cleaning fee.
Service animals trained to perform a task for a person with a disability are welcome in accordance with applicable requirements. Service animals must remain under their handler's control and may not be left unattended at the property.
Cameras & Monitoring
For safety and property protection, there is a Ring doorbell camera facing the front walk and four Blink security cameras facing the driveway, the kayak-rack area, the fire-pit and boat-launch area, and the owner's pontoon and pontoon lift at the secondary dock. The kayak-rack camera also takes in the main guest dock in the distance. All five are exterior devices that are motion activated and record audio and video.
These devices are not actively monitored but may be reviewed when needed for safety, security, or compliance with property rules.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the home and guest-use areas with the exception of several locked owner closets and cabinets. The garage is used for storage and is not available for guest parking.
Guests have full use of the main guest dock and may use the open side of the secondary dock. The owner's pontoon and pontoon lift on the opposite side of the secondary dock are not available for guest use.
