"prob one one best places we have stayed at on all our road trips across the usa…so spacious, clean, extra bathroom/bedroom was a real perk…and best of all the beds…we actually took pics of the mattress name to get one when we get home!! ps also the staffless checkin was a neat feature…prob the start of somethin with this system!! works great!"

"Everything about the room was nicely appointed - great bed, air conditioning and nice little bathroom with good water pressure as well as a microwave and larger fridge. It's a very small space but perfect as a place to sleep on my road trip. The check-in process was fine once I knew to look for an email message giving instructions and a key code. However, I did not see this information posted on the front door and instead was instructed to call an answering service that again, did not provide information to look for email instructions. Sending out an email with info sooner would have been helpful as I was traveling and camping, out of internet service and had not had reason to check my email in days and hence missed the message. Otherwise it was a perfect stay for one person. Lovely update to the classic roadside motel."

"This is a bed & breakfast in a well maintained historic building. Pros: It is in walking distance to the lake, very convenient location. The rooms are clean and freshly-made breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly, and online check-in is smooth. Cons: We stayed in Room 5, which has its separate bathroom across the hallway. The bathroom has no window curtain, and one of the lamps was not working properly. The bed seemed fragile, a tiny movement could make noises in the bed. If you want to experience the historic building with nice decor in a convenient location, I would recommend try other rooms in this property."

"Nice, small and cozy cottage. Sleeps 7, but I would not recommend for more than 5. Very nice location, silent except for current road work being done that started very early in the morning."
