Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so stock up on your own essentials! Thank you Cindy!" Very close to Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Starbucks Farm. The breakfast that is included in the stay is superb. We also had dinner and it was quite nice as well. The property is incredible - beautiful views of the volcano and cloud forest canopy, stunning trails along waterfalls and river paths, beautiful hummingbirds everywhere and fascinating encounters with frogs (the night tour was fantastic thanks Pablo) and toucans and big cats etc. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with stunning views. The staff are second-to-none, from the helpful front-desk staff (who had a night lunch waiting for us and an early morning breakfast due to our check-in house), to the warm and engaging wait staff, wonderful cleaners and park staff- all very knowledgeable and thoughtful and friendly. We did the white water rafting, zip line which were very fun- excellent guides again. The volcano walk, coffee plantation tour and boat safari were fantastic with a wonderful expert guide (Michael)- crocodile, howler monkeys, sloths, gorgeous birds. We learned a lot. Wish we could have stayed longer, highest of recommendations and thanks to all!
