Diego is enthusiastic and exceptionally competent. I also want to tip my hat to Leonardo, the chef. He make a lamb dish one night that was out of this world. Finally, I recommend that visitors take advantage of the trails around the lodge in the early morning and at night. The ponds at the back of the property are teaming with frogs and toads. Bring a flashlight!!!" The breakfast as mentioned in previous reviews was the best that we have had in Costa Rica and likewise we were treated to a wonderful home cooked three course meal at a very reasonable price. We loved the peaceful surroundings with nature on the doorstep including trails into the forest. We loved our stay and just wish we had planned to stay longer."
