This is a lovely hotel for relaxing & enjoying peace & tranquility of Salento
The rooms are spacious lovely & super comfy beds & well cleaned every day
The restaurant has a daily menu & food is great quality, my wife is Vegan and the staff & Chef made dinners for her every night!!
The staff are absolutely awesome! Nothing is too much trouble for them they really are fantastic & worked hard to make our stay perfect for us

Spotless hotel! Even always smelled so clean. Alexandro was wonderful along with all the staff! From check in to breakfast everyone was kind and friendly. If we had good weather it would have been a perfect trip! Thank you to everyone that went above and beyond for us! Grazie Mille❣️

Had a wonderful stay at Castello di Ugento. The property is truly unique — a beautifully restored historic castle that feels intimate rather than overwhelming. The room is elegant and comfortable, and the atmosphere in the castle is peaceful.
What stood out most was the attention to detail and the warmth of the team. Service is thoughtful and personal without being overly formal. The culinary experience is also a highlight — you can really feel the focus on local ingredients and quality.
If you’re looking for a quiet, character-filled stay with a strong sense of place, this is a very special option.

Oh my word! Amazing, I Booked this property only because of its location. From the lobby displaying vintage vehicles, and antiques, as well as local artisan creations. To the grounds that were immaculately maintained. Entering the room itself was also an experience, very modern, very simple, very elegant. We asked about the lovely scent of the room, “simply the cleaning products we use, all natural.” And the breakfast, 360 degrees of wonderful fruit, pastries, and savoury goodness. Traveling late in the season we unfortunately were informed the restaurant had closed for the season, I am certain it would have been worth a visit.
