This is possibly the best place I have ever stayed in my life. What a beautiful, grand, picture-perfect property. It feels like it should cost thousands a night to stay there - like somewhere an exclusive celebrity or film star would stay. It was inspiring, enchanting. You have to stay there to believe it. I would love to stay here again.

Great location, clean, comfortable, great value for money. Lovely pool overlooking the square in central Santa Marta which was great in the midday sun! Staff were excellent and the breakfast was plentiful! We were able to store bags pre and post stay with no problem due to our transfer timings. Would highly recommend and stay here again without a second thought!

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre but surprisingly quiet. You can use the pool if the sister hotel casona del colegio which is bigger and have breakfast there if you like.

Property was very conveniently located in the historical central area, so it was easy to reach everywhere by walking. Staff at the hotel Maria, Rodrigo and Juan were very personable and helpful

It was an enjoyable stay nice and relaxing peaceful and nice vibe. Breakfast was ok .

We had a truly lovely stay at this hotel! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming and thoughtful, making us feel so special throughout our visit. It was my birthday during our stay, and the lovely surprise of having a birthday cake brought to me was such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture. It really made my day extra special! Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and...

Location in the heart of the centre all the main attractions are on your doorstep. Hotel provides a great base for small trips in the heat which enables you to make most of the attractions. Hotel room was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus more. There is a great view from the roof terrace with a nice swimming pool. There is also an indoor pool which is shaded to cool off during the day. Staff were very friendly and would go out their way to help you. Breakfast, you...

Simply excellent. Sophia Hotel is fantastic hotel in the heart of the old town/centre. The rooftop pool and bar area has a lovely view and the food is good too. The music can be a little loud, but the staff are friendly and happily turned it down when we were the only couple on the roof enjoying the pool. Reception is excellent with any questions you may have and helped us immensely. The breakfast is also amazing! Thank you to the staff for such a great stay.

Given this is a 5 star hotel. I would expect them to offer an area where tou can get showered if your room isn't ready. Apart from that everything was good

Great hotel in a nice beach. Very good facilities, including several beautiful pools, beach, gym. Very friendly staff. Good food. Great service.

We had a lovely room with lots of space. Everyday the room was cleaned and smelled amazing. The staff were always friendly and helpful to us and we came back one day to a lovely note and a bottle of wine as a gift from the hotel to celebrate us being on our honeymoon. Lovely touch. We spent some time each day by the pool which had fresh towels there and would be a quiet and peaceful place to relax. The location was fantastic and would absolutely stay again.

Loved the hotel, great location with friendly and helpful stuff! Got a room upgrade and it was amazing!

THE best hotel! I travelled solo to Cartagena, Colombia for the first time so was naturally nervous but couldn’t have had a better stay at OSH. This hotel is a dream and even better than the photos in person - how is it only 3 star?! Location is 10/10. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, rooms are clean and comfortable, the main pool and surroundings areas are gorgeous. Rooftop pool has a nice view and great views too from the rooftop bar. Breakfast was delicious! Loved the option of the...
