Back Yard Creekside Retreat !!! 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' is a hand-hewn log cabin located alongside Cosby Creek in Cosby, Tennessee. This cabin is the 'perfect place' for family and friends to spend quality time together in a quiet retreat away from the stresses of everyday living. Come bring your fishing poles and catch your trout supper or just kick back, and build a fire creek side to roast your hot dogs and marshmallows. When the sun goes down, relax in the hot tub while gazing at the stars and listening to the crickets. You'll never want to leave!!! The cabin is located close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to drive in for a day of sightseeing, yet far enough away to be able to unwind in a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Our cabin is situated alongside beautiful Cosby Creek, our very own natural water feature! The soothing sounds and beauty of the creek is so relaxing you may find it hard to leave. 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' has most of the comforts of home, maybe more. We are located only minutes away from the Smoky Mountains National Park, Cosby Entrance. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are about 30-45 minutes from the cabin and Asheville and Cherokee, NC are only about 1 hour away. The cabin is comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, K- cup and regular drip coffee maker, dishes, flatware, pots and pans for your convenience. A Dining area seating 5 is convenient to the kitchen. The Living Room has an exposed beam ceiling with a ceiling fan . It also has a gas fireplace (newly updated 2014) for those cool mornings and evenings. It has comfortable furnishings for watching Cable TV. This cabin features two bedrooms and two bathrooms with exposed beams. The Upstairs Bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom with step in shower. It also has a twin day bed for 1 small child. The newly added, 6 foot pool table is perfect for hours of fun and entertainment for the pool sharks in your family. A ceiling fan offers air circulation great when heating or cooling. The Downstairs Bedroom has a queen bed, 32 inch flat screen TV and easy access to the Downstairs Bathroom. 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' has two covered porches for enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenery. The front porch has a porch swing and comfortable chairs. The back porch offers a HOT TUB, dining table and chairs and rocking chairs. The Park-Style Charcoal Grill is just off the back porch. The back porch overlooks Cosby Creek which is just a few steps away. There is also a Fire Pit located near the creek. There are no other cabins across the creek which provides privacy. Cosby Creek is a state stocked trout stream. 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' is the 'perfect place' to enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, honeymooning, holidays or vacations, or just a special weekend getaway. It is a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy the beauty of nature in a cabin and disconnect from the stress of every day life without the internet . The cabin is privately owned and maintained. The creek provided hours of relaxation for my husband and I and entertainment for our kids. We enjoyed listening to the creek from the rocking chairs on the back porch. Cabin is located in a quiet area. Lovely cabin with everything we needed to get away during the Memorial Day weekend. Host was excellent and responsive. Made s'mores in the fire pit, enjoyed the hot tub, and while looking at the exposed beams in the early morning hours, thought about the days people lived in log cabins to survive. We loved the creek, fire pit, and hot tub. But all mattresses need to be replaced. All sink in the middle. That is the only thing I would change. ##### Jen R. The cabin itself has a spacious layout. It had a beautiful front porch with a swing and the back yard, well, the pictures dont do justice. Opening the back door each morning and hearing the creek was priceless. We fished (and caught 3 trout and ate them), the kids caught all kinds of critters, they dunked in the water, and we had our fire and smores creekside. It was relaxing and perfect. Close to Gatlinburg but far enough to be out of a busy city. Owner was available and responsive when we needed anything. Absolutely recommend! ##### Kendra K. There is no WIFI even though it's listed to have it. This is a very noisy cabin. If someone walks in the upstairs bedroom or bathroom it sounds like they are coming through the ceiling. The stove is extremely small and against a wall. To use a large frying pan you can only cook half at a time because the burner is so close to the wall. ##### Bonnie H. The cabin was exactly as described in the post and pictures! Our family LOVED it and will definitely return. The roads to the cabin are not bad, at all, and perfect for those that do not have a vehicle that’s 4x4\. There is a very beautiful creek that is literally right out the back door. We sat down by the creek, built a fire and looked at cool rocks and pebbles that were all over. Upon arrival, there was an issue with the internet not working. I messaged Anita (whom was super responsive) and she got on it. The next morning, I turned around and messaged her again to let her know we were no longer even concerned with the internet not working because we actually didn’t even want to be on our devices, thanks to the beauty of the outdoors at the cabin! Will be going again in the summer so we can fully enjoy the creek!! ##### Brittany C. The cabin's location isn't too far off the Cosby highway, but felt very quiet and secluded. The creek next to the house was beautiful and would be a fun place to splash around if our son was a bit older. The front and back porches were both great places to sit and relax too. We stayed here with four adults and one baby (who slept in a pack'n'play that we brought) and we were all very comfortable. The living/dining area was big enough for us to hang out in and being able to cook meals in the kitchen was nice. The upstairs loft area was really roomy. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which was great for convenience and privacy. Anita was a great, professional host and very easy to communicate with leading up to our arrival. Check in/out was easy and she even called a few days later to ask if everything went well with our stay. We found some nice hikes on the nearby side of Great Smoky Mountain National Park (Mt Sterling Gap and Albright Grove) and this was a good spot to come home to after being out on the trails.
