Amazing getaway!
We adored the property, it was the perfect size for my husband and me. A few days before arriving I reached out to Michael about adding an extra day and he made the process to do so seamless. If you are staying there, you should note the wi-fi connection is spotty at best. This was both a blessing and a curse as we wanted to get away but also needed to communicate with the outside world and do a small amount of work while on vacation. That said, we would definitely stay at Michael's place again. It was a great spot for visiting Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg; just far enough away from the busyness, but also close enough the drive to get to attractions wasn't too lengthy.

We will go back! We truly enjoyed the small size and location location location! A little bit of a drive to Gatlinburg but we were glad for that. The Only negative we can say is that when it rained the septic smell was really strong. The smell didn’t dissipate until the rain completely stopped.

This cabin’s property was absolutely stunning. The hot tub can’t get any closer to the creek and woods. Perfect size for two of us. This was a true definition of glamping and relaxation.

Coziest little cabin in the woods. If you want a little cabin getaway but also want an updated kitchen and bathroom, this is the perfect place. A few ants sneak in throughout the day, but nothing too bothersome and they keep insect sprays under the sink. Very enjoyable stay :)

Perfect romantic getaway!
This was the perfect little cabin for our valentines getaway! It was perfectly secluded for relaxation on the deck while listening to the creek flow. I suggest bringing cooking supplies if you plan on cooking in. We brought a large iron skillet and were able to bake in it. You might need a baking sheet, measuring cups/spoons, and a hair dryer. Overall a great rental that was perfect for disconnecting and relaxation with your partner!

Poor communication , and no access to cabin.
Didn’t get to stay at the property as the property manager didn’t give me access code to the property until after midnight, was told by VRBO to book a hotel and I would be reimbursed. I have yet to be reimbursed for this cabin that I didn’t get to stay at OR for the hotel. Be careful with this booking.

We enjoyed the hot tub & the peaceful sound of the creek. It was exactly what we needed. FYI- Googlemap was slightly off on where the cabin was-pay attention to the actual street numbers on the mailboxes & you will find it easily.

The cabin was just as described, at the base of a beautiful mountain, quiet and peaceful and extremely clean. The cabin had every amenity you could want or need. We were able to watch our favorite games on ESPN and had a wonderful drive into Gatlinburg. We found out later on after a small issue with the hot tub, just water temperature, that the water is changed out and completely drained in between guests, that was an amazing thing to find out. The owner and maintenance man were both super professional and immediately solved the problem. Would definitely recommend.

Anniversary stay
The cabin was everything we were hoping for! It was secluded enough that had privacy, but close enough to all that we wanted to see and do. The only thing we would recommend for increased accuracy of the listing is to remove the line about coin operated laundry facilities. They are not on site, therefore should not be included in the listing, in our opinion. Overall, it was a fantastic week and would definitely recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway for two

Perfect Getaway
I was very impressed with the cabin, it was clean and the view on the back porch, with the hot tub was absolutely serene. If you’re looking for a place to go that’s quiet and peaceful this is it. The host was great at communicating with me and made me feel very welcome I’ll definitely be back to visit again!

TOTALLY AWESOME
The "Cabin" was everything that we wanted and expected. We needed some peace and quiet time by the creek and got it. The hot tub was great to relax in on the deck by the creek. Gas groll on the deck too. Patio by the creek with fire pit, grill area, picnic table, and a hammock included. YOU CANT GO WRONG. Local diners close with great food, service for great prices. WE WILL BE BACK. THANKS

Quiet and relaxing
Great cabin for 2. Clean. Loved the patio and hot tub being right over the creek and listening to the water gurgling over the rocks at night while we slept. Intoxicating! Once temps drop it has a great setting for cooking outside or enjoying a fire by the creek side. The landscaping and hammocks beside the creek are also a nice touch. Only drawback we had was very low water pressure for the shower. Otherwise, 5 stars

Amazing getaway destination
Booked cozy cabin for anniversary weekend. Was notified very quickly by host of a booking conflict for the first night and was moved to a different cabin which was amazing. Moved over to the cozy cabin on Saturday and was exactly what we were expecting. Definitely going to keep this one in the return list for the wife and I. Staff that I had personal interactions with were very friendly. Host communication was amazing. Definitely will be telling friends about this place and can’t wait to get back to the cozy cabin.

Honeymoon Getaway
We had an amazing stay at the cabin. Michael was great to work with and such a nice guy to talk to. The cabin was in the perfect location for a quiet, restful, relaxing time and we absolutely loved having the creek right off the deck to listen to and watch while we were relaxing on the porch or the hot tub. We loved having the lights underneath the porch as well to clearly see the creek at night. Overall, it was a really great experience and we are looking forward to going back again and working with Michael in the future.

We loved staying at the cabin. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The porch over the creek was amazing to sit there listening and watching the creek. Very cozy and comfortable place I highly recommend it. And the owner Mr. Gross was so friendly and quick responding to you. I will definitely be back there I absolutely loved it there!

Location was a little rough once we got to the actual property it was nice. The property we stayed at was shared with two other properties this would be a great place for a few different families to share. It’s not really private and the inside is so small. It was not dirty however it did smell of smoke and mildew. I have very sensitive allergies and I woke up very stuffy and not feeling good. We decided to go home as I’m pregnant and it’s not good for me to be in that environment. It was only 30minutes to Gatlinburg which was nice we were able to have lunch before heading home. I was not able to get a refund although I stayed for less than 10hours but Michael offered for us to rent one of the other units on the property, same unit or another cabin off site for 2 nights free along with the cleaning fee. I wish there were more options other than to rent another unit. A partial refund, would have been better for us as I have no idea when we will be able to come back again.

Cute get away with plenty to do
I loved this property. The hot tub was very relaxing especially listening to the stream that ran next to it. The cabin itself has everything you need for a great stay and was very clean. This place is also very scenic. If you walk around the pond around sunset the view of the mountains is beautiful. For future guests here are some tips for your stay. 1. I Had no cell service. This isn't a biggy because wi-fi is provided. I had an issue staying connected to wifi but this was resolved after restarting my phone. If you don't want to be on wifi just give ppl back home a heads up you might not have service. 2. The cabin shares outdoor space with another rental. You still feel pretty private but wanted to mention this incase anyone wanted to be totally secluded. Over all I would recommend this to anyone wanting a get away. You don't have to leave the property to have a good time absolutely loved it.

Excellent getaway cabin, beautiful creek view
We loved it, the porch looks right over the creek and is not only beautiful, but relaxing to sleep with the windows open listening to it babble by. Great for couples, simple and fun, we absolutely loved it. Also loved that we could get to the bustle of Gatlinburg if we wanted, but had all we need for hiking, fishing and relaxing right at hand. Would come again in a heartbeat

Great little cabin
This little cabin is perfect. My wife and i enjoyed our anniversary weekend here. Relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the creek off the back deck was very peaceful. The furniture in the front room has been updated. There is a very nice love seat and recliner. The love seat has a hide a bed in it as well. The host was excellent! We had the best time and we are looking forward to booking another stay here .

It’s a cute little cabin, perfect for a couples getaway!
It was a nice little cabin, very enjoyable, very peaceful. It’s not as private as I was thinking, but luckily no one was stayin in the other cabins while we were there. Definitely needs new furniture in the settin area, had to go to the chiropractor after setting on that toddlers love seat in there. Other than that, everything else was in pretty good shape.

Loved, loved the property. My husband is a transplant from Texas and had never been to the Gatlinburg area. Booked this cozy cabin for his birthday and we had a great time. The creek behind the cabin is so nice and the sound is so calming. The hot tub was very nice! The inside was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Michael was a great host and very quick to respond to all questions I had. Would definitely recommend this rental and we would return again.

Michael is a super nice host. He responds our message quickly and can answer any questions you have during the stay. The cabin is around 45 minutes away from Gatlinburg, and we enjoy the beautiful scenes along the way to Great Smoky Mountains. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for us to stay.

This was my second time staying here. I loved it just as much. It's not big but perfect for me. I love being right on the creek. A peaceful getaway which is just what I was looking for. Very clean. Michael was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Excellent host.

We traveled from Nebraska to experience the smoky mountains for the first time, and this little cabin was the perfect place to relax after a long day at GSMNP. The sound of the creek outside at night is so lovely and it’s such a peaceful place. Highly recommend.

Dear Mr. Howard, We are sorry your stay was not positive, however, you are the one completely at fault. Your review is SO FALSE, I will be brief as future readers will understand. In addition, since your stay, we have received 5 5-star stellar reviews for this "Cozy Cabin". You warned me that if you didn't receive a refund, you would leave a bad review. Staying in the cabin and not reporting any problems or concerns until you were back home, really isn't a valid reason for us to make a refund. We did in fact offer you credit for a future reservation in another unit that you reclined very rudely. In fact, you were the one to use inappropriate language when you did not get your way. Our suggestion for you is to get involved in a Bible Based Church!
