However the price to be paid for the view and calmness is half an hour drive from Cortona trough serpentines. Since it is relatively high in the hills the temperature was always a few degrees lower so the water in the pool was a bit on the colder side but still OK. It was a nice escape from the hot towns though. The hosts were really nice. ##### Michal P. It is peaceful, remote and very tranquil. The villa is about 20 minutes up a steep, winding road above Cortona. when you get there the views are beautiful. Margarita and her family are very welcoming. She also runs a small restaurant facility for guests staying in her 3 rental properties. The food is delicious and excellent value. The villa is compact but easily sleeps six in three bedrooms, one with ensuite upstairs and two with bathroom on the ground floor. The small pool is immaculate and very private. The villa is a good base to visit Tuscany and Umbria. The train to Florence only costs 10.80 euro each way for a 1.5 hour journey. Sienna, San Gimignano are easily reached by car. We would definitely go back and would highly recommend Villa Margarita Uno as an ideal base for a memorable holiday in Tuscany ##### null T. Het zwembad wordt zeer goed onderhouden. Doordat je wat hoger in de heuvels zit is het water wel wat fris.
