Villa Eugene

Surrounded by the rolling hills that frame the ancient town of Cortona, Villa Eugenio offers an unforgettable stay marked by privacy and tranquility. A skilful restoration has transformed this typical 17th-century Tuscan farmhouse into a warm and welcoming country home that can comfortably accommodate 9 people.
THE VILLA is spread over three levels. The ground floor consists of two living rooms with fireplaces, a sofa bed, and a television; a dining room; a well-equipped kitchen; a bathroom with a shower and a half-bath; a laundry and ironing room; and a wine cellar. The sleeping quarters are located on the first and second floors, featuring two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (each with a tub and shower), and two additional bedrooms—one double and one single—that share a bathroom with a tub and shower. The four double bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

The central section of the upper floors also houses a separate APARTMENT, accessed via a traditional outdoor stone staircase. On the ground floor are the entrance hall with dining room, kitchenette, and living room with a fireplace; on the upper floor, a double bedroom with a bathroom featuring a bathtub.

Outside, the spacious garden surrounding the villa is furnished with outdoor seating for relaxing; the facade is enhanced by a spacious and functional lemon house, ideal for enjoying excellent dinners, while the beautiful pool offers refreshment on hot summer days and an enchanting view of the vineyards, olive groves, and the sites of the historic Battle of Trasimeno, fought between the Carthaginian general Hannibal and the Romans. Completely independent yet not isolated, Villa Eugenio is just a few minutes’ drive from shops and restaurants and serves as an excellent starting point for nature lovers who can enjoy pleasant nature hikes.
