"Really enjoyed our stay here—the large kitchen with its French balcony open to a view of the valley, the large outdoor terrace with same view and shaded for enjoying in late afternoon, short drive to Porto Marina and to grocery store and numerous restaurants, yet in quiet peaceful area. Recommend Le Pass’Partout boat tour of the Calanches, Le Scandola, and Girolata (added plus: your host is a captain!)"

"This is a great little apartment with a great view. Small but nice size for two. BUT, you will have to do a lot of hiking and climbing unless you have a car. The climb to the fourth floor is worth it for the view but there is a lot of climbing up the hill before. And the municipality of Aiacciu has withdrawn the local 2bis bus route and replaced it with a more expensive tourist bus number 5 from DeGaulle square. We bought a carnet of bus tickets only to be told by the driver that the city buses...

"Room was simple and clean. Nice pool (swim with goggles!). My only complaint was the WiFi which, on the day I stayed, was too slow to do anything useful with. Heads-up that there are multiple places in Ajaccio with "Castel Vecchio" as the name. Make sure to use the correct address when finding this hotel."

"Unfortunately I think I received one of the more basic rooms. The bathroom was tiny with no shelf space above the basin and the room itself was very small. Glancing into a room being cleaned next door I would say my room was much more compact. The air conditioning was excellent as was the double glazing on the windows. The wifi however was very patchy going in and out all the time. Its location couldn’t be bettered though."

"We spent 3 nights here as our last stop in Corsica. Beautiful property and great location! The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. We didn't realize when we booked this is part of more of a "long-term" stay community. So the rooms have small kitchens, but that also meant there was no restaurant or bar on-site. They service a great breakfast in the morning however. We walked (about 8 minutes) to the beach everyday which was amazing!"

"We had a 2 room suite complete with full kitchen, plates, pots and pans, coffee pot, microwave and hot burners, view of the swimming pool and for a great price. Early check in after some minimal time spent finding us a 1st floor room, due to no elevator, but all in all very accommodating and friendly. We had to walk a few blocks to find an open restaurant but we were right up the hill from the train station. The tiny tourist train took us through the old Town and up to the citadel and a small but fine museum we really enjoyed. The tourist information Center was up by the museum also. The hotel pool wasn't opened yet for the season but green lawn and picnic tables were nice. Only a little student noise at night but I think it was spring break. Nice garden cat! Very helpful staff, they gave me cakevto eat while waiting for room and help with our luggage. Great bargain and very friendly staff."

"Early check in was available. Outdoor pool and breakfast patio, as well as breakfast, were all great. We were in the newer front building with an elevator as we requested. We did not use indoor pool or gym but they were available asxwere pool towels. Massage was offered as cash payment only so we did not use it. We were given a 2 room suite with nice patio and mountain views in 3 directions, which was great. A small pizza restaurant w pick up or deliver was only closeby dining option (next door) but hotel convenient to train station."
