Sleek and contemporary in its design, this Corpus Christi townhouse offers a wonderful canal-front location mere blocks from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. It's a place to spend your days setting sail from the dock, walking to Whitecap Beach, and relaxing with your loved ones in unmatched modern style. The interior is polished and comfortable, with the main living area anchored by a beautiful kitchen. This open space features professional-grade appliances (including a gas range, dishwasher, and a multi-door-and-drawer refrigerator), a large island with seating, and an adjacent glass-top dining table. There are two light-filled living rooms, each with a gas fireplace, wet bar, TV, and deck access. Central air conditioning will help keep everyone cool and comfortable. Additional features include a washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and elegant bedrooms. Enjoy a location right on a canal that connects to Packery Channel and the open Gulf of Mexico just beyond. When you're not heading out on the water from the dock, you'll be less than four blocks from the northern end of Whitecap Beach. A number of restaurants, eateries, shops, and attractions are within a short drive, including Waves Resort (just over two miles west), Mustang Island State Park to the north, and Padre Island National Seashore to the south. Things to Know \*\*Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. The dock is about 35 feet long, with a 50-foot mooring area. The water depth varies with the tide and depends on the distance to the dock. It is about three feet deep, close to the cement part of the dock, and over six feet at the end of the dock. No ropes are supplied, but most boats should be permitted. Swimming is permitted, but swim at your own risk due to oyster shells, etc. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Dock details: The dock is about 35 feet long, with a 50 foot mooring area. The location is great, a short 1-2 minute drive to the beach, and on the bay. However, the house fell short of expectations based on the listing. First off, the code sent did not work for us to get into the home. It was difficult dealing with Vacasa, who is not located anywhere near here and wasn’t very helpful in getting us a code to get in. We had to wait an hour in the extreme heat trying to get in, with mosquitos everywhere in the front hallway of the home. We were looking forward to having all of the extra space in the nice home to relax in after long days at the beach. However, almost none of the tvs worked at all, there were remotes everywhere some with batteries, some without, the stereo receiver in the main living room didn’t work, the fireplace display things didn’t work, the a/c didn’t work right, WiFi was slow and unreliable. I was excited to use the huge tub, but it took over an hour to fill up. There was supposed to be 2 parking spots, however the owner has a broken down truck there taking up both spots, so we weren’t able to park in the designated area. We had a struggle trying to find adequate parking as the property got busier throughout the week. The whole place was disappointing to say the least. The home is beautiful and lovely, but isn’t being managed very well or taken care of. Don’t splurge the extra money, it’s not worth it. ##### Tiffani J. The “outdoor kitchen” are was absolutely disgusting, the grill was very dirty, there was still food left in it. The sink was gross and full of grill parts. There was a dead roach on one of the pillows on the bed downstairs. The patio furniture was sparse and missing cushions. The house itself wasn’t to bad, just lacked good housekeeping. No view of the beach and a decent walk on paved streets. The fees and price were a bit shocking as there is an added owners fee and an admin fee in addition to the day rate and they are very strict with the times - we got there at check in time (not wanting to pay yet again to check in a few hours early) and it was still being cleaned. There are broken items, items that do not work and the WiFi does not work. The elevator in the house is not available for use and it is a 3 story condo. The water pressure throughout the house is very low. You are not allowed to use the garage so if you bring any items to use while you are there you have no place to store them. ##### James H. It has a boat dock right outside for fishing. The owners live next door. They were so accommodating offering to let us use kayaks for fishing.
