The house is very spacious and clean. The fishing pier is awesome, our boat was secure, boat lift was out of order, and the green light was placed too far back under pier, but yes, we were able to catch trout up underneath the pier. Looked better in person than the pictures. Neighborhood was full of wildlife, seen deer, birds, roosters, and was a pleasant experience. My teenage son fell in love with the pier. Excellent location on the Laguna Madre for trout, red fish, drum, and other aquatic species. The layout of the house is excellent. Everyone can enjoy a bedroom and a bathroom. The wildlife entertained us each night. If you love to see planes flying over, you can see local aircrafts buzzing overhead frequently. The chickens are fun to watch early in the morning and late in the evening. Deer frequent the area as well. Highly recommend for family vacation. A few items that could be improved - Tried to cookout on the grill but the gas regulator on the outdoor grill had a hole in the hose. The guest before us put the cover on when the grill was hot and it melted to the grill surface. Trash service is only once a week and we wanted to get rid of the trash shortly after cleaning fish - so we ended up taking the trash to another location for faster service. A fish cleaning station near the water would be an excellent addition. ##### Diana H. Definitely worth bringing deer corn to feed them, we went through a 50lb bag in 5 days and saw so many amazing animals. The property was very clean and all appliances worked.
