Stayed one night. Came down for a funeral.We stayed in a handicap room. Very clean. Comfortable beds (firm which I loved). All staff were helpful, courteous, polite and knowledgeable. Air conditioning worked great. White towels clean and soft! Will keep this hotel on my preferred list.

Good location. The room was clean and functional. Nothing special, but if you're looking for a place to stay in Rockport, this will do just fine. When we stayed, the pool was very crowded, but I guess that's what happens on hot days in Texas.

The room was clean but the whole place definitely needs renovation. The bathroom was really old, had no counter space and no hooks to hang towels or clothes. We were hoping to get some rest for the night but, once the next door guests arrived they started blasting their music and it was impossible to sleep. After 11 pm I decided to bang the common wall and they finally lowered the music a little. Rude guests can be anywhere, it’s something that can happen unfortunately. Overall this place can be ok for one night but the price per night is too high for such an old place.

We had an excellent two night stay at The Village Inn. Our room was very clean and the service was kind and helpful. The kids enjoyed the donut shop next door. We would be so happy to stay here again on our next trip to Rockport.

During our stay at this lodging, from July 3 to July 5, the staff was very attentive and kind. We especially want to recognize the couple in charge of the place, who always showed a warm, respectful, and very human approach toward the guests. On July 4, our family went through an unpleasant situation at another hotel. My daughter, her husband, and their children needed a solution, but because it was a holiday weekend, it was very difficult for us to find available rooms in the Rockport area. We spoke with the couple in charge to see if there was any possibility of helping our family with the room, since my husband and I were even considering driving back to Austin that same night, around 8:00 p.m. In a very humane, understanding, and kind way, they approached us and helped us resolve the situation. Thanks to their gesture, a night that seemed very complicated ended much better for our family. The children were able to enjoy the pool, and we felt supported during a difficult moment. Their kindness and human quality made our stay unforgettable. Many thanks to the couple in charge of the lodging for their excellent treatment, their understanding, and for helping us during such an important moment for our family.

Our stay was ok. Toiletries and coffee were very cheap and at request only. Towels and bedding worn out and were not changed during our 5 night stay. Swimming pool looked dirty. The air conditioner worked great. And it was pretty quiet.

For the price the motel is decent. Keep in mind if you rent the top room 3 beds. It’s above the owners home. If you have kids, this isn’t for you. I got a complaint we “were making too much noise” felt like we were walking on eggshells to not make noise. Pool is nice.

It's an inexpensive motel that you get what you pay for. All i needed was a place to sleep, and this fit the bill. The shower water pressure wasn't very good, their towels didn't look clean, and when i told the owner the toilet clogged, he simply handed me a plunger. Average stay for an Average place.
