Little slice of heaven
This coastal cottage was perfect for a quick getaway. All the interior touches and prime location made this home a star upon arrival. We so enjoyed the side deck with table and chairs. The view of the Chapel on the Dunes was an extra bonus, thanks Jim for your hospitality and Becky for great communication and easy check in. We would love to come back.

Wonderful location, and lovely cottage. Bed was SO comfortable. Only negatives I have: could use better lighting in the bathroom - can’t really open window shade, because the window is right in the front porch, and would be really nice to have a washer dryer!!! We went on two fishing trips and would have been nice to wash clothes before headed back hone

Perfect cottage for couples!
We love Port A and usually a family trip. This was just me and the wife for our anniversary and it was perfect. Location is on the quiet side of 11th, easy access to town, or the beach. Rented a golf cart and never needed the truck for anything while we were there. Jim the owner was super nice and was genuinely kind and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. This cottage is a no brainer for a couple. Wrap around deck was the perfect hang out for a little music and glass of wine. Thank you Jim for sharing your lovely cottage with us.

The property was great. Walking distance to the beach. Close to restaurants and attractions. Very clean, well equipped, and appointed. The property managers Anne and Rebecca were very responsive, friendly and informative. The owner was kind enough to supply us with really good coffee and a bottle of champagne for New Years Eve. Would definitely return again.

We’ll be back!
Sea Oats is a charming cottage and was perfect for our get away to Port A. It had everything we needed. Our favorite thing about the house was the outdoor deck where we could sit, relax, and feel the cool ocean breezes. A bonus was getting to meet Jim. We’ll definitely be back.

Best place for a couple in Port Aransas!
This was our fifth time staying at the Sea Oats Cottage. We love coming "home" after a day at the beach to a great bed with wonderful sheets and pillows. We love dining outside on the covered, wrap around porch. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely recommend.

The Perfect Little Cottage
This was the perfect getaway for my husband and myself. We were in great need of a few days away from home. This cottage had it all. It was extremely clean and perfectly appointed. The eye catching and most beautiful sight is the Chapel on the Dunes right behind the cottage. The check in and check out were simple and everyone I spoke with was extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a very enjoyable time away from home. We will definitely come again. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Beautiful, romantic cottage for 2 (per wife)
It was a Birthday present for my wife who wanted to spend a few days at the ocean. She loved everything. The place was clean, well appointed. Kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils. We enjoyed staying at the Sea Oats Cottage. Highly recommended!

Adorable Cottage in Port A
Very high quality cottage in old town Port Aransas. Perfect for a romantic get away at the beach. Next to historic old chapel. Great wrap around porch. You could walk to the beach but you’ll want to rent a golf cart.

Perfect Getaway
This cottage is beautifully designed, comfortable, and nicely decorated. A perfect space for two--and easily navigated by us seniors. The spacious porch/deck is wonderful for catching the gulf breezes. The owner, Jim, was so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return as soon as we can!

We loved our stay at Sea Oats. The property managers and the owner were delightful and always available when we had questions. The cottage exceeded our expectations! The furnishings are comfortable, high quality, and well suited for the space. The kitchenware provided is the best I’ve seen in a rental with the just the right assortment of the essentials needed to cook all the meals we had planned for the week. I found myself spending more time relaxing on the porch than I did on the beach!

In the kitchen
I enjoy cooking and during our five nights in the property, I prepared seven meals. The kitchen is lacking a few critical items: a 10-inch non-stick skillet, a large slotted spoon, a good fruit/vegetable knife and a decent flexible spatula (a stiff metal one is provided. Fortunately for me, I always bring a spatula, knife and a few other items. The items I mention would greatly assist the next serious cook. All in all, the place is wonderful.

This was a great cottage to stay in. Beautiful location. :)
The cottage was so nice, it was just great to sit out on the wrap around porch to bird watch & see lots of dragonflies. There is a chapel upon on the hill behind the cottage. They perform weddings there. The cottage is not too far to walk to nearby eateries & shops. It is also close walk to the beach as well. You will not be disappointed.

Third stay and it keeps getting better!
