"The room is small outdated and ugly but staying directly on Mont St Michel is something special! Beautiful view from the room. Beds are okay for a short stay. It’s not the cleanest, Staff give a weird vibe, pushy to make a reservation at their restaurant. Wifi is useless. Mini fridge is the room The hotel is such a maze, very confusing with lots of narrow stairs. Very loud you can hear everything from tourists walking to streets to the bells of the church. Overall worth it for the experience and location."

"Can’t check in before 1600. Your names and allocated rooms appear on a list. Reception shuts at 1600. If you have a problem with your room there is no one to take ownership of the problem and resolve it there and then. We had an upstairs studio apartment which had a very small bedroom and awkward to get into bed because of the sloping roof. On arrival the blinds wouldn’t shut and the bathroom sink plug wouldn’t pop up. Both issues were resolved the next day. We are getting on a bit and didn’t expect a 1st floor studio apartment with no outdoor space but we should have read the small print on the website. It was hard to differentiate between the rooms on the website and what each offered. You had to trawl through the rooms individually and see if the blurb had balcony or picnic area. Pool wasn’t open when we were there but the location was nice and convenient for the town, restaurants and the pleasant walk to Mount St Michel."
