This felt like a unique place to stay, but I imagine there are quite a number of places like it in that very old section of Cordova, which still echo elements of the Roman, Moorish, late Medieval, and Renaissance. I made the mistake of trying to walk there from the train station at 22:00 with 3 pieces of luggage, got hot & sweaty in the humidity, over cobblestone streets worn smooth by perhaps a 1,000years. There were no street signs until I reached the ancient enclave, and I am notoriously bad at following the directions on the phone by myself at night with my hands full. If you try it, make sure you go through the old stone archway that looks like it’s part of the Alcazar. Don’t try to go around like I did. By the time I finally found the place early in the morning, it may as well have been Medieval times. Narrow, labyrinthine, dark cobblestone streets, hedged by white stucco walls, yellow trim, above age worn brick and stone. So, the habitation felt keenly romantic, as if I were transported… alas, the next day I discovered, for better or worse, that Belmonte Street is actually the main thoroughfare for throngs of tourists! The staff answered my message in the wee hours of morning, and let me know that the code for the outside (in an alley) also works on the door, which I didn’t get because the numbers are invisible; it’s just black smooth plastic until you tap or press your finger prints on it. There’s no staff, but the room is immaculate with modern conveniences, like

Nous n'avions initialement pas reçu le mail qui contenait le code d'entrée et les informations de check-in, cependant nous avons pu contacter quelqu'un par téléphone rapidement malgré le fait que ça soit un samedi en fin de journée. La résidence était très belle et extrêmement bien placée, la chambre était super (seul point "négatif", le lit grinçait bcp) Globalement une très belle surprise

La habitación muy nueva, limpia, tranquila. El único problema es que huele un poco a humedad, pero abrimos las ventanas y, enseguida, se fue. Ubicado en zona céntrica. Nos ha encantado.

Muy buena ubicación

La ubicación es realmente genial, cerca las partes principales de Córdoba. La habitación estaba muy tranquila y bien mantenida, y la limpieza se hacia todos los dias. El único punto que me apetece señalar es que la habitación número 2 estaba un poco humeda, pero probablemente esto se debió porque los rayos del sol no llegaban hasta allí. Solo necesitas subir un poco la calefacción de la habitación encendiendo el aire acondicionado. Estructura recomendada para quienes quieran visitar Córdoba.
