From here visit one of Córdoba’s top natural attractions, Cuesta del Reventon. Because it is a residential suburb, El Brillante provides all the comforts of regular suburban life. This includes parks, a sports complex and restaurants. Enjoy a meal in one of the many bakeries or cafés before beginning your ascent to Las Ermitas or cool down with a drink on your way back. Las Ermitas is a group of 13 hermitages formerly used by hermits who wanted to live an alternative lifestyle. View the impressive assortment of chapels and monuments for yourself by hiking or biking along the nature trail. Opening hours change throughout the year. The site has a small entrance fee. Cuesta del Reventon is the 1.7-mile (2.7-kilometre) route that leads to Las Ermitas. Reach the start of the route by driving or hiking. The route itself is best explored on foot or by bike.
