There are buggies that can take you from one end of the resort to the other, especially helpful when you have your luggage. "This resort is made for families in every way We stayed for 5 days with 4 kids 4 adults. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was a highlight for everyone - loved the omelette station and fresh juice bar! The centrally located pool is perfect the kids can swim and parents can supervise from the restaraunt. Location was perfect easy walk to all the other hotels and their restaurants and pools. Water park across the road was amazing too you can come and go with all day pass. The fijian people are second to none, they are warm, welcoming and attentive. Definitely the best hotel on Denarau currently 10/10! Only improvement (for all the hotels) would be GET TAP BEERS especially at the Heineken beer bar … 😅 We will be back at the end of the year, thank you Sheraton!"

"This beautiful island boasts an amazing and friendly staff. However, there are a few areas that could use some upgrades, such as the shower heads and the buffet options. If you’re planning a short stay, the food may not be as exciting. "

"Our Bure was massive, old fashion style with modern bathroom facilities The resort it self is well laid out, food buffet themed nights or al la Carte menu Staff are very helpful and accommodating Only down fall is there’s no actual beach, in saying that we did go n look at the other hotels at Denarau, apart from all the Reno’s going at these hotels the double tree holds it’s own very relaxed atmosphere and not over crowed like the bigger chains."

"We stayed two weeks at Tambua Sands Beach Resort on Fiji’s Coral Coast as an adults-only couples resort. The location is stunning—the protected lagoon, beach, and sunsets are spectacular. What impressed us most was the genuine warmth and friendliness of the local Fijian people. Resort gardening staff and housekeepers were outstanding—always smiling and helpful. Locals in the surrounding area were equally kind. Rooms were decent and cozy, reasonably clean for beachfront (expect sand). Housekeeping excelled. Drawbacks: unnecessary extra twin bed, inconsistent bathroom light, stretching mats not allowed in room, daily WiFi resets, and no microwave to prepare your own food. Dining was the biggest issue. The only nearby option was the resort restaurant, it serves mostly processed, greasy food. With wheat/egg allergies clearly stated, staff lacked training. A “safe” hamburger had egg in it which triggered my worst reaction—I was bedridden the entire second week. Vegetables washed in local water made half resort customers sick. Laundry returned smelling worse than when taken in. We left a night early due to illness but were still charged. Airport transfers exceeded local taxi prices. The warm local staff and community shine, but the owner chooses processed foods over quality. Better allergy training, fresher non processed food options would transform this beautiful spot. Great potential for a peaceful retreat. Recommend cautiously and only for those without dietary restrictions."
