"Lovely sized rooms although a little outdated in good cond."

"When i booked it said 2pm Check in. I was on a work trip and was arriving at 1pm. So i sent a email 24 hours in advance asking for a early checkin. We all know we can work something out, even if it means agreeing to put a key somewhere. When i arrived the Caretaker responded to phone 2pm check in, nothing positive as a welcome and when i explained I emailed for a early check in or a arrangement and got no reply the caretaker/owner admitted to not checking emails. "A lovely house close to family that we were visiting. Shops close by and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. Any small issues were attended to straight away by our host. Lovely, clean accommodation with super comfortable beds. A great holiday and we hope to return again. As with other guests, the grass was not cut during our stay, but this did not impact on our enjoyment of the holiday."
