Best Location in Copper! Copper Mountain is a local favorite. With 3 separate areas in 2538 acres of naturally divided terrain, all skier abilities love this mountain. Simplify the logistics of your ski vacation. This Gold rated condo is the CLOSEST RESIDENCE to the two lifts in the Center Village. We will match the rate for any comparable listing in the Center Village. Being so close to the lifts makes it easy to take a quick break from the cold and get right back to the fun, fast! Others say they're just steps away from the lifts, Copper One Lodge really is. There is no better location at Copper Mountain Resort. This One Bedroom is comfortable for a couple and a couple of kids, or another couple on the sofa bed. We replaced the sofa bed with a sofa/chaise lounge that folds down to make a king sized bed. The sofa cushions are the mattress. We have all kitchen amenities for your stay, including a slow cooker! Check out the comments that some of our previous guests have been compelled to write in the traveler reviews section at the bottom of this page. Aptly named Copper One Lodge. This is where the lift ticket window and equipment rental shop is located in Copper Mountain. Other owners say they have a "prime" location, but it's a 5 minute walk in your ski boots to the lifts. Step out the front door and you're at Eagles Landing, the focal point of this European-designed pedestrian village complete with great restaurants, chill bars, retail shops, coffee shops, grocery store and an amazing smoothies and açaí bowls just outside the front door. We have a full kitchen, gas log fireplace, cable TV and an outdoor patio. Store your boards in the ski locker located inside the front door of the condo with the closest residence entrance to the ski lifts in the Center Village at Copper. You can arrive in a blizzard and park your car in the heated underground parking garage near the elevator that takes you to your personal retreat, without stepping in snow, when you choose this condo. Copper One Lodge has an outdoor hot tub, steam room, fitness area, heated underground parking, ice machine and laundry facilities just down the hall. Stroll the quaint pedestrian village without having to worry about traffic. The streets are heated so there's no ice to slip on. If you want to slip around on the ice, you can rents ice skates at the shop on the lake when it's frozen. The two 4-person chairs in the Center Village were replaced with two 6-person chairs so there won't be any lift lines. Copper Mountain, with its 23 lifts crossing 2538 acres, is 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States', according to the US Forest Service. With its 2600 vertical feet of cruisers, bowls, glades, parks and pipes and superb ski school, Copper has something for everyone. Intrawest and the same designers responsible for the famous Whistler and Mount Tremblant Resorts spearheaded a $500 million Renaissance that transformed the perfect ski mountain into the perfect ski resort. The resort is conveniently located 75 miles west of Denver and Denver International Airport on I-70\. We are about 20 minutes from Breckenridge and Keystone, 25 minutes from Vail. Copper Mountain is just off I-70 so it's easy to get to, even in a blizzard. Copper has a free shuttle service if you want to head to the East Village for tubing. The Summit Stage is a free shuttle service that takes you anywhere in Summit County. Summit county has graciously given us permission to rent this condo on a short term basis. The permit number is BCA-72221\. We loved this property, including how close it is to the lifts (one day I counted that it was 60 steps from where I took off my skis to the ski locker), and both the coziness and cleanliness of the unit. It's located at the base of the mountain, so getting your ski equipment from the secured locker (included as part of the condo rental) and getting to the lifts is so easy and convenient. In addition, the owner was very responsive every step of the way and even provided valuable "local" tips that were very helpful. Lastly, the condo itself was spotlessly clean and outfitted with everything we needed ... coffee pot, frig, microwave, plates/bowls/silverware and comfy beds/pillows. Without a doubt, we'll rent this condo again on our next trip to Copper Mountain. ##### Stuart F. We stayed there during a ski festival (Dew Fest) - it's right in the center of all of the action, yet on the quiet side of the building, so we wouldn't know what was going on outside from inside of the condo. It's equipped with everything a small family needs, and the king sofa-bed pullout was plenty large enough to share with my teenager. We utilized the ski locker on the 1st floor and the hot tub on the 2nd. We kept the car parked in the garage for our entire stay as there are plenty of dining and entertainment options in the village. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back if we have the opportunity to visit Copper Mt again. ##### Mike V. It is a wonderful little one bedroom with a kitchen that is well stocked if you choose to cook. Bed is comfy, and pull out couch is sufficient (maybe best suited for children). I came with my son, and it was perfect. It would also work well for me and my wife. I would not choose this place for my family of 4\. The place is a small one bedroom, and if you are sleeping 4, you better be a tight knit group.
